  1. Something tells me Venti showed his 2000 IQ in the tavern. He "accidentally" gave alcohol to the only person who could have heard him talk about confidential stuff with the Traveler (since Kazuha has an amazing hearing).

  2. I didn't finish the event yet but what I played was awesome! It's also pretty funny to listen to the Genshin cast trying to speak my beloved native language, german.
    I mean, Immernacktreich?
    What they mean.
    Immer = always
    nacht = night
    reich = nation, country etc.
    But instead of nacht thes say nackt which means nude or naked.

  3. About Paimon being extra mean to the Fatui, I know it's a very stretched theory, but IF she is a traitor and sides with Celestia, it makes sense for her to (subconsciously) fight the guys who side with the Tsaritsa (who's building a rebellion against Celestia).

    Again, very stretched theory, but who knows. Maybe Paimon is gonna gradually become more evil

  4. Events can't be permanent because of storage limitations, although they could add a cutscene gallery for every important event or make the events available as an optional download

  5. Drunk Kazuha and Venti on the roof are some of the funniest things I've seen in this game. This entire event is hilarious but those 2 thigns had me rolling on the floor

  6. here the thing, how many times how you come back to enkanomiya? or dragon spine if it is not for an event? or the islands on Inazuma other than the main ones?
    i am happy this event is just for this few weeks because i know they will disappear, and that will make me super exited to re visit them, just as it happened now, if they were there permanently they will be abandoned all this months until next summer, and after all this is a mobile game, ergo, more usage of gb, so thats why mainly this beautiful place is out for us once a year.

  7. I really don't understand why they don't make story quests in events optional downloads. They did it recently in Tears of Themis. They made an old event an optional download and treated it like DLC so people who missed the story the first time could choose to play it. So Hoyoverse can do it. It makes me sad that new players won't know how cool Albedo is. I'm glad you're getting to enjoy the islands this time round. Also Kazuha is the only drunk person I want to listen to for hours.

  8. In my opinion, some stories are locked behind time-limited events because the size of the game would be so huge if each updates leave behind the story quest and also domains and maps.. Would be quite confusing too on how new players do which quest first if they are all available.. If I may suggest a solution, they should provide the summary of each events correlated with current ones, similar to where they introduce fischl.. In this case, the super short summary of previous island event is mentioned in Venti's "singing" (?)

  9. Honestly I think the Golden Apple Archipelago being a limited time event is perfectly fine, because if anything this event shows that this is gonna be an annual event just like Lantern Rite, they're probably gonna bring the islands back next summer as well

    I do agree that hiding extremely important story details and character development behind limited time events is dumb and needs to stop as it does actively harm the mainline permanent story quests, at the very least they should add a story replay feature that allows you to replay any and all past cutscenes and story and dialogue sequences, including ones from past events you may have missed

  10. If this island is permanent, it won't be as fun as it is now. I've played this game since the beginning and I'm so happy they didn't make GAA permanent. I mean, look at Dragonspine, Chasm and Enkanomiya. Tell me how many of you enter those area alot nowadays and walk around in it? Pretty sure nobody enters the Enkanomiya anymore when they finished everything in there. That's why some things must not be permanent to make it more special. I'm glad they make GAA limited time because if not I won't be as excited as I am now to explore it all over again. Nostalgia hits, yanno? But then this is only my opinion and everyone is subjected to their own ^^

  11. The events are teasers for story to come. As a day one player, the events only enhance the story, but add nothing that is not available in the game presently or that will be in the game. You did miss events, but any lore hints you missed are explained through character story or the game when necessary. It's a reward for those who played at the time when characters recognize you or you get alternative dialogue. New players aren't being punished, veterans are be rewarded.

  12. I like your energy and you reaction about this event. It's fun to see new players first time explore Golden Islands and appreciate the event map. Many old players wanted this map permanent but now when this map is back, they started to complain a lot about the difficulty of quests. People are too greedy with their demand.

  13. Chat being triggered by Paimon being mean to the group of well-known terrorists that continue to actively put hundreds of innocent lives in danger and care about nothing and no one other than themselves lol.

  14. Bran.. it's called a gacha game, they earn money through time gating stuff and limited event stuff, otherwise it won't attract people, so yea, now you get it.

  15. drunk kazuha i understand u bob!!! he is too adorable!!

    also i think paimon gets more selfish by each quest
    and on topic of limited events. having limited stories and maps r fine. but when they do character development and lore in them then u have to question the hoyo's writing

  16. The moment Xinyan meets Mona and Fishl still cracks me up, its so hilarious!
    All in all, this is probably the best event story since the Archon quest interlude with Shenhe, so deep and alot of character devolopment!

  17. Dude, after this event, it has to be canon that Kazuha and Xinyan are an item. There were way too many vibes for it to not be a thing. They probably bonded over being free spirits. 😏
