  1. Genshin Chinese GI players are currently "boycotting" (not by playing the game but by unfollowing the official GI accounts on their China version of social media), but not because of the Natlan issue. It's because Wanderer was there in 4.8.

The male CN Genshin players hated him with a passion because of a stupid and incel reason. They were more focused on beefing with Wanderer for "destroying their ego" than Natlan right now.

  2. Honestly, some of the Natlan characters having skin tones that are too light (especially considering the cultures that inspired it) is a valid criticism, it's just these types of sickos who take things too far

  3. It’s extremely telling how they try to do boycott, it is halfassed and doesn’t work, then puts more effort in sending death threats to someone who goes “it’s not going well”

  4. Hypocrites on full splendor. They could have uninstalled the game on protest, they didn't. They could have stopped consuming anything from Hoyo, they didn't.

This recent tantrum actually shows how they don't actually care about doing "justice", they're just all clowns bandwagonning the sjw fad train and reminding everyone for the 999th time to not take them seriously.

  5. As an ACTUAL PLAYER of Genshin Impact (not like those “players”) who have the entire map 100% and have 12-3 spiral abyss and 8 act at imagination theatre and AR60

I couldn’t care less about the boycott 😂

And for anyone who is like “you’re racist!” I’m an Iraqi Babylonian marrocan Jew, I’m probably more brown then all those performative activists, and my fav character, Furina, is as white as a wall, IDC about the skin tone of the character, just make them deep and human and I will be able to connect to them no matter their skin tone.

  6. Hey, you know Twitter is a public forum right? It only makes sense for the twitter accounts to send you death threats to be completely exposed to face the consequences of their tard actions.

  7. I was not boycotting Hoyo, because we as 'west' have no real leverage over Hoyo like the CN players do (government), BUT I would love to see one or two good looking, dark skinned characters in the game.

Is it because of so called equality or representation? Nope. I just find them hot. And it's coming form fairly light skinned man from Central Europe.

  8. I get it if the majority of people wernt doing it correctly but the issue was still an important one, you don’t have to sounds so pleased about our failure

There where, and still are people actualy really trying to nip at an insurmountable problem that does actualy need changing

This makes it all seem like it’s a joke

  9. I just started playing Honkai Star Rail (HSR). It is amazing. I got caught up to the current story in like 2.5 weeks of play. I already have Genshin Impact downloaded and ready to play but right now I am focusing on grinding in HSR to improve and get ready for the new content in September. I like HSR's turn based game and will probably focus on that more than Genshin and their action based gameplay.

  10. A bit surprised it wasn't highlighted that the boycotters (woke activists) are extremely loud and vocal, but in reality very few in numbers relatively speaking, and that even if they had boycotted the game, their presence (or lack thereof) would not have been noticed.
