  1. The doll quest is kinda an old asian superstition, where old things tend to gain some sort of sentience after such a long time, or some sort of spirit has come to possess the doll, especially human shaped ones, some benign in some culture, others malignant in another. My friend and I assumes it to be some sort of 'penunggu' (a type of ghost in Malaysia superstition) that came to possess the doll, since it lines up with the usual possession item is a doll, especially a humanoid shaped ones, that has aged for quite some time. The closest that I can think of is Japanese Tsukumogami, but I think that's a whole different folklore altogether. I literally had chills when I did this quest.

  2. Im really looking forward to Snezhnaya and the people there. Especially our dear Tsarista that's being kept in shadow until next year after we leave Natlan. People don't realize Snezhnayans like the Fatui are still just people following marching orders. We've met some real awesome ones like 9th Company and House of Hearth, Knave, Tartaglia, ect. and this year we're meeting Captiano. I swear if Captiano starts flirting with us!!! 😂❤😮

  3. Bet you didn't see that one coming! Snezhnaya is a Spartanian society. What that means is that they regard it as the highest of honor to sacrifice yourself for the cause. Most Fatui has no idea what they are looking for or why in many aspects they are victims of their own conviction.

  4. This patch came out after the start of the war in ukraine, and as a ukrainian I saw a shitton of parallels between what russian soldiers were experiencing here and what this company went through.

I dunno if Mihoyo were trying to allude to general russian army behavior (or some other army out there), but the timing was just too damn weird not to notice it.

  5. Balalaika is a Russian folk instrument with a triangular wooden, hollow body, fretted neck and three strings. I'm sure we can get it at some event in Snezhnaya like was with Lyre in Mond

  6. WAIT NOOOO!!!! It was NOT the celestial nail. The wish granter that Qi Ding was posessed by, it has to be none other than the guy from the Caribert story quest. A giant purple rock floating/tied by chains emiting a glow. The traveller just assumed its the nail when it can be that…thing that has been imprisoned there and that healed Caribert. Even that area was within "chasm". The fountain within chasm was making the hilichurls ease up, maybe it was wish granter/the sealed being who was present there, and that water had something to do with him adn that was what was easing up curse of immortality, as he did something to caribert, so he probably is strong enough that his presence alone, atleast in a sealed state is able to soothe the curse.

I mean come on, we have never heard the any of the celestial nails inducing this sort of hallucinations. But the stablized form of corruption, that is the dark mud…induces hallucinations(and probably fungal spores lmao), anyway, nail isnt the one inducing hallucination and stuff, its the forbidden knowledge. Not to mention, Qi ding is trying to blow up things near Stony halls, the nail is still far from there. But there is an "inverted" city there with an inverted fountain that eases up the curse. He was trying to blow up something in that nameless city. He wasnt even close to the nail.

  7. It’s crazy how far we’ve come with the Fatui. From humanizing them in the Chasm and the Golden Apple Archipelago to meeting and working with Lyney, Lynette and Fremmy and Arlecchino… Honestly, I still struggle to understand the Traveller’s view of individual Fatui members who aren’t Harbingers. The way they respond feels a little inconsistent with what they’ve been through at times, and I would’ve expected them to be more sympathetic by now.

  8. Your pronunciation of russian names is so cute and funny. But i get it why it's can be hard to do. Especially when Hoyo often uses nicknames not a full names.Usely it's how parents or frends addressing to a person:
    Lyudochka/Lyuda – Ludmila.
    Anton – Antoha
    Katerina/Katya – Ekaterina
    Borenka – Boris
