Video is about hoyo and how they have been striking down genshin videos on youtube after the fontaine genshin 4.0 information that has been spreading like wildfire. hoyo has been striking down videos not related to this inicident but they have been hammering down on other videos including speculations and more that I personally do not think are justifiable.
Transcript: What is goody gang, so today I am going to be talking about an update to this hunting decree hoyo has been doing for the past week ish and how it has actually gotten much worse and can signify a potential end to genshin update and speculation videos. So if you didn’t know I recently talked about how hoyo is on a massive hunt after releasing a statement as seen from this video by impurfx. This is after the huge wave of Fontaine information that is spreading over the past week, and it seems like hoyo has already started to take action. However the issue lies with how they are taking action, because not only are they taking down videos with this Fontaine information, it also seems as if they are taking down speculations and information not related to this wave. On youtube there are many channels including mine who were striked and atleast only speaking for the videos I got striked for, undeservingly. So the videos I got striked for was a speculation video for the phase 2 of genshin 3.7 along with a video talking about the hoyo developer discussion that they published on the hoyolab website. It was striked for showing unpublished images even though the images I used were either from the official genshin impact twitter or the developer discussion, so I personally think the strikes were unjustified. However it seems like its not just me who is facing unjust strikes and it is actually many channels who are receiving it, which is why I think if they do not cool off from this fontaine flood week, then it could be a huge slow down to genshin videos. One example is this youtuber who posts genshin videos and mainly posts about upcoming banners, who recently got one of those striked down for some reason. Now I am not sure if he posted a fontaine video showing all the fontaine characters in the future banners or not, but if he did not then the strike of that video is unjustified in my opinion considering most banner videos are speculative considering nobody really knows who is rerunning until hoyo officially announced it. Now you may be thinking just one or two examples is not enough, but we can see that there are even more channels as this channel has also faced some strikes for their banner video. Now I am pretty sure the video this channel got striked for was for showing some fontaine characters in the video, so I guess this one would make sense. However it still remains unclear considering they striked down my videos which did not show anything related to fontaine and only discussed what was officially posted by genshin, so I feel like if they can strike that they can basically strike anything. Now usually whenever hoyo posts statements about leaking when a lot of information gets released many people take it very lightly considering their track record in the past. However it seems like they are really hammering down on it, which is why I advise everyone to stay safe, and to not repost information you see either. Hoyo is not just targeting channels from what I understand because in the psat they have targeted users on discord for showing information, and even twitter, so make sure to stay safe. I actually was going to release a speculative video on the future upcoming banners but I might hold back on it considering people are getting striked for those videos, so we will just have to wait and see.
