Hey guys. In this video I share my thoughts on the weapon banner at AR54 as a low to medium spending player. I have more than enough characters currently in my party, and will continue to summon some of the new characters when they release. Because of this, I summoned for the first time on a weapon banner when Ganyu dropped. Because I will be pulling Hu Tao, I also plan on summoning on the Staff Of Homa banner.
I also do a damage test with Beidou comparing the Skyward Pride and Prototype Archaic, to show the damage difference a 5 star weapon makes.
I know in the past I’ve said to not summon on five star weapons, and it is a gamble but I have decided to occasionally roll my luck for the damage gains.

Will we finally get a Hu Tao announcement this week??
I subscribe to my fellow light spender, because you showcase possibilities that are close to mine. This will make comparison easier for me.
I feel fortunate to get a 5 star weapon completely off pity, so nothing really wasted because it was 19 pulls. Do I really like the pride, yes, would I have ever rolled for it, never in a million years.
"I'm not a big spender" -> has c2 diluc and 2 limited banner characters
I mean I have two five stars, zhongli and diluc, both of which are obviously on my main team. I use them a LOT so this banner is actually probably better than most banners for my account
I am someone that has every 4 star character, and a few 5 star characters. I think I am someone that should aim for weapon banners.
I look at the Hu Tao and Xiao banners, and I think "yeah, those are nice, but I don't have any spears they can use, so meh". While that is partly a problem with the weirdness of the craftable weapons, the point stands- I might be more excited for new characters if I had general use, powerful items they could use.
I'm just glad my waifu Noelle don't need 5 stars, her BIS both 4 star tho one is the serpent BP weapon and other is RNG Prototype Whiteblind
But yea in general 5 star help a hell lot, tho depend on the character usually about 20-30% more dmg than 4 star so there's that
That said someone beat abyss 12 9 star with 4 star only character on F2P account and 3 star only weapon, just show how skill, character synergy, and artifact roll matter and enough to clear the current hardest content in the game so I highly recommend for any F2P or low spender to get the character you want first and foremost and avoid weapon banner if possible, find the guide of your favorite character and level your talent, get cons, get good artifact and if you still feel lacking even then and have the primo/fate/money for weapon then go for it
With that Crit Rate/Damage ratio on Beidou, you should be using Blackcliff Slasher.

At first I wanted characters, I was playing for 2 months and had not gotten a single 5 star character, I thought the gacha gods hated me and THEN I started getting back to back 5 star weapons and now I have 4, eventually Xiao and mona came home as well, I manifest the best for y'all, may your wishes not go in vain 😤✨
My account don't need anything more so I'm going for Ho Tao only for waifu reasons and weapon i got WsG so I'm building Xinyan (only other claymore that i enjoy is Noelle WsG is just bad for her)
I lost the 5050 on hu tao and got diluc , and summoned on the weapon banner and got staff of homa, now using on xiao , thinking should i still summon for hu tao :/
I didn't use any Claymore Character but I have beidou,razor,noelle,chongyun. I got gravestone but I don't know if noelle can use this or I need to use it for beidou or chongyun as support?
Pulled on the weapon banner in hopes of getting WGS for Diluc but ended up getting Homa instead so I guess it will stay level 1 until I get Zhongli :
Get R5 4* weapons, they tend to be better then some R1 5*weapons, sometimes only R3 5* weapons (lvl90 ofc) leave them in the dust. Yes. I am aware it will take sometime to get prototypes, and summon. Summoning for weapons, never. But if you get lucky and get a few of the same weapons, you can make it work. On keqing for example r3 lion's roar is as good a r1 jade cutter, even though I built keqing for jade cutter, but r3 was as good, while pulling for Hutao. I got lucky and got 2 more lion's roar, a freind on mine has almost the same build and my r5 lions roar is doing more damage then his R2 jade cuttter. So unless you're sending 5k a month on this game, I suggest you try to make it work with 4* weapons. They are really overlooked in my opinion. Maybe cause they don't get the same hype on a thumbnail as a 5*.
why do ppl think that spending 100$ is still considered low spender? thats roughly a month of food for me god damn
I got a second 5* weapon today on the standard banner and it's amos bow. Out of all the other 5 stars, why amos bow T_T

This weapon banner was pretty much the first weapon banner that I pushed pretty hard for. Mine was a case of extreme luck since I managed to pull 3 Staff of Homa's and a Wolf's Gravestone with 150 dollars+13k saved up primos. I normally don't advocate for these weapon banners because of how much of a trap they are, but this was one of those few exceptions for me since I already had Hutao and Diluc has been my main for a while so it was a win/win scenario for me.
The only other future character I want is Ayaka Kamisato and since she's most likely really far off It was practically the best time to get 2 of the best 5 star weapons in the game. Worth it but at the same time I'd straight up avoid these banners normally unless you actually have a use for both weapons.
Is 200$ considered light spender in this game?
I've been trying to get a wolf's gravestone for 4 months. I pulled two five stars on the weapon banner, got aquila favonia and a staff of homa. I then proceeded to infuse both into my whiteblind, which is what I will be using pretty much forever now since I couldn't get a Gravestone.
i have a ton of characters that i have to build so im going exclusively only for the weapon banners now until inazuma comes around. i've been quite fortunate to get the weapons i wanted on the jade banner but the homa banner scares me because i don't really need gravestone but i could continue building razor if i do get it. really wish mihoyo would let us pick the 5 star weapon that we want on rate up instead of having both 😣

First time I pulled on weapon banner. Got staff of homa for zhong li. But I would've been happy with WG for my diluc. For f2p players or low spenders its probably a good idea to only pull on weapon banner after you have enough characters so that no matter what you get, the weapon won't go to waste. Aiming for a specific weapon is just pain.
bruh. my ganyu is almost whale broken strong. with no constellation and only 4 star blackcliff bow. its all about artifact. but of course 5 star weapon still better.
How come you don't have Stringless or Rust? I have both at R2 and I'm F2P.

Finally, someone's account i can relate to. A few levels 80's, no level 90's and a bunch of 70's and since i was very lucky with pulls i got a bunch of other characters i can't even level.
I just managed to hit lvl 80 with Hu Tao yesterday…

people used to tell me chongyun sucked as a main DPS but since i got lucky w/ wolf's gravestone he never fell short in late game content
Wait till I get primordial jade vista( bow ) for childe, i may not have gotten skyward but one day a good 5 star I will have for childe
Not just weapons but also at this point, some light spenders may wanna use primos for one resin refresh sometimes. It doesn’t cost too much but just one a day will already help progress a lot
I just want the aquila favonia for my MC lol
