I guess I have a reason to play my C4 Diluc if I get the skin
The fact that they fixed his eyes and hair- i dunno maybe albedo will be next for a 5* outfit :w;
They said his vision isn't anywhere on the skin. Which means that he may be using his delusion, hence the black flames. Would be cool. I'm still not happy with the price but may get it regardless for my c3 diluc and his R3 gravestone.
Irecently got diluc and xiao in 11 rolls and less then 40 pity,
I am a free to play player.

i have a burning question trying to look for answers: Why is it that when reading comments and post that we disagree with, our internal voice will make them sound more agressive and stupid, than if they were talking to us directly? (examples being: tumblr post VOs with irl humans)

Both in his base skin and this new skin, the eagle in his burst has the symbol of the Hex–<something something, the group of witches(?)> on its neck, so the secret group that recruited him might be the same group where Mona's teacher and Alice belongs. So, I think the lore behind his new skin might provide more lore on the group.

Theory: Diluc is (or was at some point) a Fatui double agent.

probably gonna buy this skin even though i don't even have diluc yet. and by probably i mean most definitely.
What if they do an interesting twist here. We all think Kaeya is the most sussy of the brothers and that it's a 50/50 if he'll turn on Mondstat or not but what if the person who is actually the betrayer is Diluc? No one would've expected it. He hated the Knights of Favonious after they tried to cover up how his father died, and we know after 2.0 that people get loopy after they lose their visions for a while. What if his vision is somehow destroyed(yes I know how durable visions are), and with the Delusion he has in his possession, he turns evil and uses his Delusion and betrays Mondstat? Maybe not in this event but possibly in the future. That would be a really surprising plot twist. This is my favorite of the skins they've made so far because of the juicy lore implications, and also it just looks the best, it's so badass. AND THE HIGH PONYTAIL!!! WE FINALLY HAVE IT!!! 🙌

So there were leaks that the "Wanderer"(aka Scaramouche) is getting a redesign and is becoming a weekly boss fight AND a playable character in Version 3.2. I really wanted Scaramouche to become playable but I didn't think it would actually happen. I thought, "If they did though, they would definitely redesign him because that hat is way too huge" and I was right about that lol. I'm so happy tho!!! I wonder what his new design will look like? Will it look Inazuman, Shneznayan, or Sumeru…an?(what would that be? Sumeruish? 😂 Probably Sumeran)

Lore skins give me hope for archon skins
I think the upcoming event will not only reveal more details about his vigilante past, but also his current self as a member of the underground intelligence network.
We know Diluc didn't completely cast away his vigilante persona. The only thing that has changed is the fact that he doesn't work alone anymore. And now it seems like Diluc trusts Traveller enough to reveal something about this mysterious third party.
An independent intelligence organization (sounds like Kingsmen ngl) that comprises of volunteers so willing to cast away their past for the knowledge about the ins and outs of the Seven Nations? What do they seek with that knowledge? What are the relationships between the organization and the authorities of the nations / the Fatui /the Abyss Order? Will they ever openly interfere with the situation in Sumeru or other nations? I can't wait to know more (>w<)
