I have to say, I do miss how nice the controls for HI3 was, even on mobile. It is a lot more of an action game than Genshin. Genshin is much more story/exploration oriented.
I was actually considering making a return to HI3, but then I learned that HoS's banner had passed……………so I decided to stick with Genshin.
Also the lore does sort of fit. Prior to Genshin's official release, MHY was already doing events in HI3 that had to do with alternate universes, alternate timelines, etc. In the main story of HI3, Otto Apocalypse was seen looking at another branch of the Imaginary Tree (basically the Mihoyo multiverse), and he saw Dvalin. Safe to say, it won't be hard to fit this into HI3's lore.

This collab most likely to test water and see how player react, and honkai in genshin will happen but will take this collab as consideration. Consider it took MHY ~6 months to prepare for this collab, the next honkai in genshin I expect to happen end of this year at the fastest.
