tbh as of 4/29/2022 i still havent completed the chasm im actually just getting into it lol i pushed the chasm off for the events just so i could have content after the events were over.
Genshin needs serious multiplayer content. I'd love to recomment Genshin to my friends but I don't, because the amount of time we could actually play together is so limited by content. I see that pvp wouldn't work on Genshin but maybe a horde-mode with every wave getting more difficult or something more competitive like a pvpve mode, where players compete in teams by killing strong mobs the fastest and having the chance so sabotage the enemy team by spawning them additional enemies.
IMO, this is one of your most engaging videos that i have seen. Well done. I believe you are spot on with many of your points. I wish GI was different than it is. I don't think that will change much, though. Money, money money. :p
They should make more bosses and also make them hella strong like they can dodge all your attacks and you have to try like 200 times to kill it

they need to look at what warframe is doing some of the gameplay modes they have could work in genshin like the survival and defend this position modes that seem to go on forever and get harder the longer u last, somthing like that with some co op would be insane for genshin i hear tower of fantasy has something like that to
I have played gachas…lol I will tell you….Honkai Impact 3rd actually lets you get a free copy through the new updates. I am unsure if Teccy played it long enough to see, but other than letting you farm up the currency rather well, they do in fact bring out new 4 star Genshin equivalents and allow you to farm for at least a single copy of that new 4 star equivalent.
5 star equivalents are usually locked behind their banners for a good while…they have given out these for free after they had been out for a while though or at the very least they have allowed you to farm up the fragments of your chosen one to unlock. Honestly, if I remember correctly…Honkai actually guarantees the character/valkyrie at like 100. There is no 50/50 hm…
So I am not sure why this same company has yet to allow us to do roughly the same on Genshin. We are at a good point for this to be implemented. They could literally start with allowing us to farm characters such as Amber, Kaeya, Barbara, Fischl, Razor, and Lisa with maybe someone like Jean being a singular 5 star you could farm for.
I am sure that if we had a place similar to Abyss(or Abyss itself….) with many floors and just allow us to farm up say, 10 floors per week to give us currency….that would be great!
Let you start from floor 11-20 the next week and so on. If you can't make it passed the first 5 floors of the new set…such as failing floor 15, 25, 35, and so on…then keep you there for the following week or perhaps even drop you down to the last 10 floors.
I would bet that even this would work nicely.
I think that RESIN should NOT be capped. You should get a full day's worth of RESIN the moment you log on for the day.
Condensed Resin should have a higher cap…such as 10 Condensed Resin at any given point.
Spiral Abyss should be revamped. I need this changed fully, similar to the style I mentioned above….perhaps even make it 100 floors with anyone able to do all 100 floors every 2 weeks. Each Floor could even have a theme if they wanted to "force" you to have a variety of teams and characters. Such as floors 1-10 being immune to Hydro or even having them heal X hp per second with [element] causing this effect to stop for 5 seconds. I mean, we could do just about anything and get more floors….farm mats per 10 floors done. Maybe even currency for a shop that has anything from books and normal mats to characters.
2:27 another game that I often like its gacha is Cookie run kingdom. It has no constellations, it doesnt base on your luck but this game can easily give you the character you want on the banner EVEN they GIVE YOU S -TIER CHARACTERS AT THE END OF YOUR 7 DAY DAILY REWARDS FOR FREE. I remember getting espresso cookie on Day 7. You don't need to farm much unlike Genshin, because they give you rewards from each event from small tasks.
Edit: Guys! We can share this video on Genshin's feedback in game (I did it btw after I watched this video) so that we can hear Hoyoverse's thoughts about the suggestions we need for the patch and hopefully, Hoyoverse sees it and hopefully that the next versions of the game, they will bring more big and new changes for the game.
Bro what people don’t get is that he’s not saying ‘it shouldn’t be a gacha game’ he’s saying that they shouldn’t be considered new content. Having self restraint has legit nothing to do with it. Getting a new character and weapon to play around with in spiral abyss, which itself is NOT new content, isn’t content. Considering patches are 6 weeks apart and you get maximum a few hours with a new character, that’s not content. What I mean by that little time with said new character is that while you can run around and do your usual stuff with them, that ain’t new

One of my personally favourite interactions was venti and yae miko. Even though it was minuscule but I loved thinking about how yae miko would know who venti is and seeing them interact and just thinking about that was so cool to me. Again hoyoverse will probably never do this but one can dream
While I agree, mobile seems to be a limiting factor for the amount of content the game can have.
i would love if every update they gave us randomised free 5 star weapon or a chracter like a ROULETTE with equal chance of getting stuff . friends will be discussing what they got and more. and it will not be trash to some people as even ranom 5 star stuff can be used as constellation

I think we just need way more story quests wich have Voiceover. The millions of meaningless side quests feel sooo bland. And they have the money to hire them.
REQUESTS & BOUNTIES REWORK:
> REQUESTS
– 3 Request missions per day
– Just give an area to where someone might need help (encourages exploration)
– Requests should be needing for unusable special mats somewhere (like red wolfhook, dendro-processed berry, etc.) or needing to clear/kill the unusual hilichurl or taking a picture somewhere, etc. Removes gliding ability (encourages exploration)
– After finishing, gives a hint to the Bounty mission for the day (location hint, enemy type, immunities)
– Rewards related to the mission
> BOUNTIES
– 1 Bounty mission per day
– A random large enemy unit in the overworld is Gigantamaxed (Boss Raid type)
– CO-OP ONLY (encourages Co-op gameplay everyday)
– No clues available but hints can be retrieved from Requests (encourages Requests and exploration in co-op)
– Retains the immunities/weaknesses to encourage different character use
– Bounty enemies rotates in different regions/sub-regions randomly. (Can be the Ruin Guard at the center of the Thousand Winds Temple at Monstadt, or a Bolteater Bathysmal Vishap at Enkanomiya, or Rethel, one of the Black Serpent Knight: Windcutters, at the Chasm Underground mines, etc.)
– Better Rewards (Guaranteed Dust of Azoth everyday, Guaranteed Dream Solvent every week, Guaranteed Weapon Billet every month)
LEYLINE OVERFLOW (EVERY UPDATE)
SCARAMOUCHE'S COLLUSION
– A weekly event wherein Scaramouche is to be seen colluding with a random enemy camp in the overworld (not necessarily Fatui)
– No hints for the random location (encourages exploration and online community coordination)
– Tripled material drops
– Able to interact with Scaramouche and then he dips out (can be random one-liners but tiny hints for his storyline and next plans)
TRAVELMATE OF THE WEEK
– Due to the Traveler's popularity or for some clout or other reasons, people are lining up to be with the Traveler
– Every week, a certain random character is buffed slightly in terms of attributes, exp gain, and mats gain. (encourages to use different characters)
– Requires max Reputation to include the characters of that region
– The character for the next week is in the overworld somewhere, able to be interacted with, and will give you some of their needed specialty mats (encourages exploration and fun hunt online)
INTERIOR DESIGNING WITH SAYU
– Every month, a selected winner of a Serenitea Pot Housing Design from an online fan-art contest will be set as a goal to be replicated (to the furniture, the companions present, etc)
– Every week, Sayu will be transformed into a random furniture inside Serenitea Pot (editing mode is required to spot her) and upon spotting her, she gives a picture as a hint for the design goal
– This will encourage everyone to visit and edit Serenitea Pot. Rewards can include primogems

Theres only 2 things I really want from this game to improve it without being greedy
1 A trading function, since they'll keep their money no matter what why not? Mihoyo doesnt lose anything from the players trading characters they pulled but dont want, as well as constellations, like for example I have a C6 Rosaria and a Hutao, neither of which I want and would love to trade to someone that does. They could have it where you can only trade a 5 star for a 5 star and a 4 star for a 4 star, in my case I'd trade my Rosaria for a Chongyun constellation, and my Hutao for a Xiao constellation, the money is still spent and kept by Mihoyo regardless and the players still have a way to get what they want instead of having character slots filled with ppl they'll never use. The same feature could apply to weapons too but I'll settle for just characters if thats all they spare.
2 Stop resin gating artifact domains when the artifacts are randomized, its one thing if you could farm for artifcats and know your gonna get the set that you want but its a whole nother thing to spend all your resin with no guarantee of even getting the set you want before you run out. So if their gonna keep it randomized then dont make us have to spend resin on it, or keep the resin but have us able to choose which set we want to farm instead of having it randomized, then atleast we'll get the reward we want and dont waste our hard earned resin with nothing we want to show for it.
I feel like those two things arent asking too much, theres some other minor requests I have like wanting hang out events for the 5 stars like we have for the 4 stars because why not? why cant we hang out with them? it just feels silly that we dont, I mean I know they have their own story quests but why cant we have some wholesome filler content as well? it just feels unfair. Another minor request is once we C6 a character we stop receiving them, like I been got a C6 Xiangling yet Im still pulling her when theres other characters on the banner I hadnt C6ed yet, its just dumb tbh but like I said I wont be greedy, just them fixing the main 2 I mentioned would be good enough for me for now but I'd definitely be down for them doing more, most of the suggestions by Tectone I agree with and would like to see implimented myself but unfortunately I fear Mihoyo wont listen…

No hot takes on PVP for Genshin? I do believe that PVP in Genshin Impact is viable with the format of the Vibriocrystal Research event right now (not sure if I spelled it correctly), where people will compete over who gets the most amount of points.
Now of course, it would favor whale accounts, but I don't think it's bad because they deserve to be better overall (in terms of having characters, weapons, and constellations)
If anyone is familiar with the Battlez gamemode in PVZ 2, that is what I envision for the possible PVP system in Genshin. Enemies will be changed every season, a trial character suited for the enemies will be given out for the selection of team, and players will be moving up through ranks wherein they battle with a player of the same rank (but, yeah make it harder for players to abuse this through purposely forfeiting the game and matching up with lower rank players)
It would highlight combat and strategy, which is what the game is mostly about (as argued through the promotion of new characters and weapons), and this may possibly solve the need for endgame content.
Anyway, I don't know if this idea is original or not. This was inspired from the limited selection of games that I have played, and from the feeling that the recent event gave me (it felt really good to just kill enemies with the elemental reactions and combos).
I can agree with people saying "just save" but here's the thing f2p players usually have to skip 1-2 banners to get character they want(if they go to pity ofc) and there's that magical thing beloved by everyone called 50/50 and also another thing called me ar57 f2p with c4 diluc and no other main dps 5 star. Okay sure every character can be good if you build them right but it really makes the game not enjoyable if you have to use the same fucking character for a year or so because you're basically out of options. I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only f2p player with that problem.
Even honkai got more gameplay loop and in game content
did you know that in honkai you can toggle off skills / passives if you wanted to? and the banner pulling system u will most of the time get your character before pity, 50 pulls at max unless u are very unlucky, and u get a 50/50 every 10 pull for weapon banner and stigmas every 10 pull, also not to forget to mention that spiral abyss has a rankign system for players that compete for higher rank for better rewards, yup same company by the way!!!

Providing free charity "minimum guarantee of one copy of character" will only make the game shittier since no one will continously grind for the same character since they will be given at least a single copy every single character.
It's not just the whalers who provide funds for the game, the accumulated funds from Free-To-Play players who went into low-spending and those low spenders are also part of it. So if these F2Ps are given a guaranteed single copy, they don't need to spend but just continue on doing the usual. The low spender will come back into F2Ps since they can easily get the characters they want.
"Raiden's banner has one of the highest revenue for a character so far. If Hoyoverse "gave a minimum of one (1) copy of it, little to none will pay for it and its revenue will drop down."
The game's revenue is sustained through it's gacha, so in order to continue the game keeping the current system is already a generousity coming from the developers themselves comparing them to most of the gachas.
Most of the player only wanted one copy and those who wanted more just extremely loved the character and that's it.
Genshin really can't be compared to other gacha games. A lot of people excuse this stuff cause other gacha game's don't have it. When the thing about other gacha's is they don't make even a quarter of as much money as Genshin. They need to be predatory just to keep their shit running. Genshin can actually get away with being so much better than them.
I think it would be great if they implemented the possibility of getting a copy of the 5* weapon when you get the 5* promotional character.
The reason behind Hoyo isn't flooding us with skins is probably because skins bloat the storage size of the game

I dont think Mihoyo understands the value of giving us the tools to make content ourselves. Player created content is what keeps a ton of games with a mediocre gameplay loop alive. if anyone has played Halo, then you know how fun custom games are in there, cus players have the tools to make everything they want from the ground up. The map, the gamemode, player stats and everything. To this day, i still play Halo 3 with my friends cus we mess around in custom games, and that game came out in 2007.
If Mihoyo dont want to make good content that stays for longer than 2 weeks, then let us make it ourselves
I can’t tell you how pissed off I was when ayaka offered to buy us a custom kimono and traveler was like… nah I like what I have on. I was SCREAMING at my laptop like WTF mihoyo why can’t traveler get a new outfit?! Only been wearing the same fckin thing for almost two years now

Also, is it just me, or does newer "events" feel more like a relabeled version of commissions than actual events?
It'll probably be better if hoyoverse just rerun past events like theater machanicus (not this one though, the older ones) windtrace. Or since these two are originally associated with the already established nations, why not just make it a permanent arcade game mode?
I have a sense that until sumeru comes out, there's gonna be a significant drop in active players.
ngl a decent in game loop I can think of is making primo gemsand/or resin a drop from mobs/bosses even in small amounts it will encourage players to actually play the game more
I disagree with his take on being able to allow players to have enough primos per patchto guarantee a character. Part of what makes pulling exciting as a f2p/low spender is that you to experience that element to skipping or pulling on a character. I for one skipped Itto because I was saving for Zhongli and I was excited to get him. Now that Itto's is right around the corner, I may even pull for him. Maybe it's just me but being able to decide which characters to pull for has some excitement to it that I don't think Tectone and a number of other content creators can relate to simply because they are whales.
