Spoiler: based on the leaks, we already gotten artifact strongboxes, character selection screen animations, and a update to the underground map in 4.0. But as always the Spiral Abyss changes massively from each new region expansion as there are new mob variety added and Floors 9-10 even get an update. As for resin, I highly doubt hoyoverse would change that because they want players to keep playing the game and itโs more baked into the systems of the game. What they could change in addition is adding a way to salvage artifacts like Honkai Star Rail and Expedition QoL obviously.

I agree with the talents being timed gated itโs sooo annoying and would take that change over a resin increase to be honest because it takes so long to crown units when you have not pre farmed talents!

the daily locks on talent and weapon materials is the worst… sometimes you're just too tired from work but the next time the domain is open is in 3-4 days. it sucks so bad.
For me the artifact system needs a complete overall in genshin it is literally the worst aspect of the game and if youโre like me with your garbage luck in artifact rng you literally always have poor builds. Let us re roll let us pick our main stats let us choose what set weโre farming for, what piece weโre farming for . I avoid domains like the plague because of how much I despise the artifact system
I want to see character details in the character selection screen in the abyss. If I want to double check what artifacts a character has, you have to exit the entire spiral abyss.
Artifact reroll would be a direct slap in the face to those of us who've spent years grinding for good sets. All those artifacts I've used for upgrade material or put in the strongbox, infuriating.
for me amber need a buff or rework but xinyan i think the easy way to fix her is just make her shield scale with ATK instead of DEF and that way she become a hybrid Physical/Pyro full atk scaler
The only way I can see xinyan becoming viable is if geo + pyro had a good reaction, then you might consider putting her into a team with itto, albedo, and gorou. You get geo reasonace, gorou's full buff, everyone is defence scaling, defence characters improve xinyan's flimsy shield, free up a potential zhongli, and whatever the better geo + pyro reaction is. I know, a geo reworks is alot of copium.

Anyone know why we can't convert 5* artifacts to mora? That always bothered me. The only way to get rid of them is to feed them into other artifacts, strongbox, or delete them, which is wasteful when you don't want to do those things.
I'm so glad you didn't forget weekly bosses, because i still do all of them for the billets every week and am ressinless afterwards.
Developper notes already talked about Map QoL changes how they're adding layers to the maps it would be different from elden ring because the future content got more than just teyvat that would be a problematic feature
What's kinda redundant is how you have the option of creating more than 5 Condensed Resin, but you can only hold 5 of them at a time. No one talks about this for whatever reason.
Honestly I think for the character banners, simply due to the mass of characters they should have like sub sections with maybe idk.. 2 banners for each Nation but I dunno if that would be viable so eh this would also suck if they ran two characters you really wanted at the same time but, not my monkeys not my circus
Well, idont think amber needs a direct buffs. Indirect more likely. For example, a weapon that shortens charging time of her charged attacks, possibility to explode her dolls with her burst, i have her C6 and she's grwat support

I want to have the ability to see talent ascension materials needed preview button in game. Like we have for the level up ascension materials that are needed.
We have 68 characters in game an the rosters growing. It's alot to keep up with on who needs what special talent boss drop material.

I just want more resin tbh. I wanna play the game more than 5 minutes
WEEKLY BOSS ZERO RESIN PLEASE I would be ok even with all of them half resin, but 60 is really too much… I keep farming because I'm very low spender and I want to find the weapon billets even more than the materials (I have tons of talent mats), the fact that I don't pull on weapon banner makes it very important for me to have a wider weapon choice and refinements.
I literally have to use more then two days (390) worth of resin to farm them all and it will just get worse when they'll introduce more bosses, that's a lot of resin that I could have used to farm artefacts or any other thing to actually help my characters get stronger.

I hope Hoyoverse will also add a mechanic to for the Traveler to change his element from the menu or character screen instead of going to a Statue of the Seven everytime. I agree that to unlock the element you need to interact once with a statue but after that it's really a pain…
I would just like the ability to reroll artifacts. Even if it meant taking that +20 artifact and reducing it to level 1 again, I am so sick to death of the 8 layers of RNG to even get a usable piece.
Just a few comments on your ideas and perhaps in some cases how things you already do could be done better to make these issues less painful.
Expeditions: I'm in no way against a "collect and redeploy" button although I'd have limited use for it as every now and then I run my expeditions at different timespans for alignment. However if you're doing it the way you describe, you're doing it wrong. I click Claim, then click again to close the popup screen, then click again and it opens the character selection window, letting me redeploy that character in the same spot using the same setup. Yeah pulling the mouse across the whole screen to pick the character again gets a bit tedious but all in all it's very fast. Repeat for every character and you're done, I think I usually have it all done in about 10 seconds.
Regarding map alignment and switching, The Chasm in particular does not align with Teyvat surface. There are three points where you can travel between the two maps and their position in both maps is completely different. You can't shift or scale The Chasm's map to correspond to surface. Given the lore, all the fake sky and irminsul stuff, it does even kinda make sense as different parts of the world are supposedly in separate "bubbles".
Regarding banners, the easiest solution (and one I believe Hoyo will go for) are just more frequent banners. About the same rate of new characters and higher rate of reruns. It just makes sense, also they're already doing similar thing in Honkai Impact 3.
Regarding concentrating artifact upgrade materials, yes conversion to Sanctifying essence would be nice. But what you can do already is just to upgrade some trash artifacts all the way to +20. Yeah you lose 20% of the exp on reuse (but you'd likely lose the same on the conversion, as e.g. conversion of excess weapons to upgrade materials also loses some exp) but you don't lose on Mora since any artifact exp reuse is free. It does not solve the problem but it allows you to concentrate that exp significantly.
Regarding artifact rerolls, I wonder, is there something similar to artifact strongbox in HSR? That rerolling material is interesting but what I understood it's pretty rare and hard to get item. But I don't play the game. Personally I hope for many more artifacts to be added to the strongbox as that is the ultimate reroll tool in the game for me.
Weekly bosses without using Resin would be possible but they would likely lose the Adventure Exp and Friendship Exp part of the rewards along with it as these are directly tied to Resin usage everywhere. And I think many would not like that loss given the three boss runs we get discounted essentially giving twice the AR EXP and Friendship exp per resin than anynthing else.
In general I hope some of the QoL improvements we know from HSR will make it to Genshin but when and how fast it will happen is a question. It seems to me Hoyo is intentionally holding on many QoL improvements because they want to spread them over time. To give players impression that the game is getting better, number of improvements is not relevant, only their existence is. And it is in Hoyo's interest to keep that impression up as long as possible.
I hope we will get a shield bar just line like in honkai star rail. Bcz i can't see whether my shield is up or not due to all happening on screen and get one shoted
6:59 Hoyoverse actually answered this in a recent interview in which they stated that they will do something similar! They showcased the desert with it, but I think they will roll with this because of the sewer system in Fontaine. As it was shown in the 3.7 live trailer for Fontaine, the sewers are directly under the city, but a separate map (like Underground Chasm) would not be necessary for it. Which is why they will implement this "toggle" function I think.
#1 is extremely EXTREMELY copium. Like you're literally overdosing on copium ๐.
Why would they buff someone who's free and an old character when they literally could make you spend money to get a better character?
The only "old" character who got "buffed" is keqing but dendro wasn't a buff to keqing specifically but rather a universal buff to every electro characters.
About the expeditions. A claim all button honestly doesn't really solve the problem as much as people think. It will still be a repetitive task you are forced to do every day twice a day if you really want to max out the resources, just reduced to one button now.
What they should do is make it like the teapot coins and friendship exp, in which there it stores stuff in a reserve that has a limit and you can collect on the days it's close to reaching said limit, instead of having to go there every single day. That done, it would also make maxing out the resources from the expeditions a little easier, but it wouldn't be game breaking in anyway, since the expeditions give so little.
As for artifact experience, one thing that being able to turn the fodder artifacts into experience items would also help with is mitigate the repetition of having to constantly use only 5 of them to level up an artifact at once, because the experience item can be stacked when using it.
Now, you might think this would end up wasting that random buff for extra exp that sometimes happen. There is a very simple solution to this:
1. make the artifacts experience items never trigger this buff;
2. make the artifacts we convert into those experience items trigger this buff randomly during the conversion to generate extra of the artifact experience items;
There, the buff remains, the annoying repetition disappears and the inventory space issue is gone forever as well. Such a simple fix at the tips of their fingers…

I disagree that artifact load outs will be useless for new players. I remember having to switch my best artifacts to different chars all the time. Not having enough to go around. They can definitely use it. I see this as a universal good.
