That heizou build is pretty nice man. I've still yet to mess with the strong boxes yet this patch because I'm farming for 3 new characters. But I use to farm crimson witch everyday and now I don't have to.
I honestly didn't know about this, but god does this sounds useful, I don't have to suffer as much pain for artifacts now. Also My comment is a super thanks because I've started watching you ever since xiao was leaked, and you are singlehandedly the only reason alone I was patient enough to wait for xiao in the first place.
You are also the only reason I came back to genshin after quitting for a year, I've been watching you for 2 years now (I was originally Darkerdoodle, but I separated myself from that account because I was only known for my xiao flute and xiao kazoo videos, which was quite annoying.)

I really wish they included tenacity and pale flame sets. It's tenacity I want, so nothing has really changed for me. Left feedback, but not expecting miHiYo to care.
Easily the best change next to the 10 preset teams, I can finally farm Crimson Witch and now Thundering Fury for Cyno/Keqing/Fischl without feeling like I'm wasting Resin.
I got a Dendro Goblet with 14% ATK and 21% crit dmg. Not the best, but for only my 1st Dendro Goblet, it's already useable. And I got a lot of useable Crimson Witches.
I agree 100%. It's definitely a good change of system, and I will use it. Once all the current artifacts I got are maxed. My (now 47) chars are… not maxed by any metric. The 4-Star bits and bobs are maxed, but the 5-Star are all 16-17 so… and I love my account, but progress… well, I've seen continental drift that moved faster. I plan to use the strongbox when I get there, and I actually have junky artifacts to spare.
I'm definitely going to target Crimson Witch of Flames and Thundering Fury. Those sets are just plain horrible to farm, but they will optimize my Diluc and Lisa (who now, with Dendro Traveller and Tighnari is actually pretty good!).
I've also been using the artifact strongbox to get some VV pieces to upgrade on Kazuha. Not getting that much luck yet on the EMs and I'm also looking out for Dendro goblet for Traveler, which I haven't gotten yet. Using the strongbox to get those CW pieces is also a dub. 👍 No more of that cursed domain finally. 😅
I’m still getting trash artifacts, though. 234 strongbox attempts, not one did I get a Sands Atk% Heart of Depth. and Atk% on Sands has higher probability to get than ER or EM, and yet I got several EM and ER Sands pieces that I don’t need (with bad substats—seriously, flat Def and flat HP need to calm the f*** down.) I just want an Atk% Sands. Been looking for 5 months now. How many more months should I wait? I just can’t. I can’t anymore. There needs to be a pity system or a way to target and earn the main stat of a certain artifact piece you want. Like 6 gold artifacts in exchange for 1 gold artifact piece of your choice, and/or 12 artifact gold artifacts in exchange for 1 gold artifact piece of your choice with main stat of your choice as well.

The first thing I did after the update dropped was to go to the strongbox. I got 6 dendro goblets and some good Tf pieces 🥳.
wtf now they decide to improve strongbox 4 months after i quit?????? damn
got a couple of good thundering fury and crimson witch of flames artifacts. the price is a bit high.
This didn't change anything I'm still getting trash artifacts.
I got 2 dendro cups while converting stuff to Retracing Bolide for Yoimiya.
This would've been the best change if the Strongbox artifacts did not have Crit Rate/DMG as a sub-stat
The strongbox was useless to me before the upgrade, this is a really good change because i dont have many good pices from old sets
He’s saving his abyss for when Fontaine drops 🙂
I feel like a broken record at this point, but it could to/should to be better, this just a step in a marathon
with that said, I might just actually farm a domain and use the strongbox fir more then 4 different sets (pre-3.0)

But i got a few decent yae miko thundering fury pieces so i'm happy with that.
I already refined every trash artifacts into witch set, now i got a decent hu tao.
yeah i converted most of my artifacts to VV got a few EM but most substats suuck

the strongbox upgrade is definitely really nice, especially since i have a plethra of shit artifacts due to my poor luck :'-)
