Genshin can't have Christmas because they don't have Christ.
The closest to Jesus is Nahida, but still really far fetched.
Last year around Christmas they rerun Eula and offered up a new adventure on Dragonspine (featuring Clonebedo, a free Albedo-centric sword, Bennett actually being kickass in story as well as adorable interactions between Eula and Amber). I would think that this year it would be an event featuring the new Cryo Monstadt character, on Dragonspine, with more Clonebedo, another Albedo-centric sword that I probably won't use and hopefully another rerun of Eula along side the the new Cyro-Monstadter so that I can miss getting her again this year.
…Christmas is NOT snow…. the company is trying to stay away from anything which may lead to a controversial stance so yeah good stuff. And they keep rolling out events so.

That is not a Christmas event at all. In China, winter is in December. It's a winter event. The only holiday they celebrate in-game is Chinese New Year.

If they put real-world halloween and christmas events they gonna put much effort for rewards and player can gain more primos and anything rewards can benefits them, and Hoyo don't want that.

Ok wait a minute if they wanna stick to the lore of the game we shouldn’t have any real world holidays and if it’s specific to each region then mondstat which is Genshins equivalent to Germany would celebrate Christmas and Halloween cause even before they started doing GRAFENWOEHR which is basically Halloween they had a similar celebration in april called Hexennacht.
They can just say that they don’t want to do anything that’s not related to Chinese holidays and I’d accept that, but for them to sit here and blatantly lie and say the reason these aren’t events is because they don’t want to take away from the lore is bull shit.

Atleast give us Albedo's signature weapon Hoyoverse, so that Albedo mains who joined recently would love to have Albedo's signature weapon. And another thing why would Hoyoverse released dragonspine (which is clearly a Christmas theme) and they don't want the lore to be associated IRL? Like Christmas or Halloween. Does Hoyoverse giving us an indirect response like "we don't celebrate Christmas or Halloween so no events to the players" but Hoyoverse only celebrates during the game anniversary and Chinese New year (Lantern rite) as a global player myself it's hard because Hoyoverse didn't care our holidays which is kinda sad
