This is the first ever Genshin Impact News, where I talk about Genshin Impact news that isn’t really Genshin Impact News but something related to it that I find interesting. I talk about how someones credit card was STOLEN by a Genshin Impact player and used $27,000
This is the $27K incident in Genshin Impact. Covered by your news reporter, akron.

how unlucky was the guy that spent 27k for a c6 ganyu kekw
Did some rough calculations after which I can say that 27k USD will get you around 12.65k wish. If you want a c6 5 star banner rate up banner character, that'll require at most 1080 wishes. So basically that means with 27k USD you can technically ensure yourself 11 C6 rate up banner characters. And that is if you have the worst luck (ie. lose 50/50 and hit pity every time). That's ridiculous to say the least
That’s why I don’t bank with capital one
The fact someone stole someones well earned money just for their gambling addiction.
knegers
i love ganyu but i would never go that far to steal somebody else's money to get her i don't wanna spend any money, if i did spend money it would be my own that i saved
Idk it's kinda sus to me. Why'd they specifically name Genshin Impact when Honkai Impact is also a thing.
if this article is real it's more than likely their kid whaling with their credit card yikes
Any coclusion on this incident?
i once got 200 $ stolen once from me. i got it back, but for several days i felt sick to my stomach and had mad panic attacks. i cant imagine this mans situation
Plot twist: their son spent 27000 dollars on Ganyu
imagine spending 27k on genshin impact
Just did the math and it should take $2000 IF you win the 50/50 every time. This makes me even more sad because clearly, the person who stole his money spent way more then that. I hope the victims gets the justice they deserves and whoever stole their money better go to jail or get their account banned because this is just disgusting.
Am I the only one that finds it hard to believe that this guy has a credit card with a limit of 10s of thousands, Some how gets it stolen, and doesn't check his account? Not to mention that he doesn't even give dates for when those charges actually happened. Sounds like he was charging it himself over months and is now coming up with a story to try and get it back. If it was 27k in singular charges in around 48 hours there's no way a bank would say that, they could get sued.
This was def his son. He doesn't even know.
It was most likely the amos bow/staff of homa banners that he rolled on a ton.
doesn't after some amount of money are spent they contact you in order to confirm the payment? correct me if im wrong, but if I'm correct then capital one is the trashiest and shittiest company.
27k sounds like multiple c6 5-stars and r5 weapons. Don't think it will take more than 2k even if you keep failing the 50/50 to c6 one 5-star.
From what i see whales spent $1.2k – 1.6k for a C6 5*
27k is too much
plot twist: it was their son.
man, i still feel guilty getting the welkin moon from my dad ONCE.. pls (he offered it btw because hes swag)
