THAT'S BAD ! Chinese Government Opposing Genshin Impact! Reasons Behind the Flood of Complaints

Hello everyone,The developers of the popular game Genshin Impact have faced a number of challenges recently, not only from the Chinese government but also from players around the world. In this video, we’ll discuss some of the key developments, including issues with in-game rewards and allegations of hidden character changes.

According to anonymous Chinese content creators, the game’s publisher HoYoVerse is aware of player dissatisfaction over reward structures, but has responded by removing videos from smaller creators that discuss these problems on the Chinese platform Douyin. It appears the company is reluctant to take action against more prominent creators, instead opting to change the in-game names of Chinese creators to the generic term “Traveler.”

Furthermore, reports indicate that China’s Ministry of Information Technology has formally addressed four major tech companies, including HoYoVerse, regarding a backlog of unresolved user complaints. Allegedly, over 60% of the total outstanding complaints are related to HoYoVerse, covering issues like customer service and data privacy. This influx of complaints, often stemming from dissatisfaction over limited rewards during events, has overwhelmed the company’s legal department.

The Chinese government is reportedly pressing developers to address all inquiries in a timely manner, warning of potential consequences for non-compliance. While no laws appear to have been broken, this situation has created significant challenges for the company.

Some players have also raised concerns over “hidden nerfs” – changes to character designs that are not officially documented. One prominent example is the gradual reduction in the bust size of characters like shenhe and Rosaria in recent updates, which some view as an unnecessary and unexplained alteration.

  1. I kinda have noticed the bust size of Rosaria lately, are they trying to make Genshin more friendly for kids? Also even though I like Hoyo, they should really follow the what the government says

  3. Interesting. The issue is that Sony, controlled by United States, has major shares of Hoyoverse, so a big influence, and since America is woke they want to make Genshin also "not exist" and shit like that, which is not a problem for China. I remember western idiots accusing China for the censorship, when it was Sony.

  4. I kinda wanna see it get temporarily shut down or the company in trouble just because funnee lol. Also some of us would love a break but feel trapped and obligated the daily system so if it went down…

Although what’s going on with Shenhe nerfs and such that you alluded to, that is actually stupid and somewhat enraging. If they got in trouble for that I’d support it fully
