I feel like this might just be a troll , To make us excited about the future storyline and it will be a huge twist sooner than later , I mean it could be the end of the story but not the end of the fontaine arc rather Primordial Fighting Arc
"One of the usurpers" refers to the archons most likely, he's talking about the power taken from the dragons and probably given to the archons in the form of the gnosis. This has been theorized before, but the reason hydro Traveler's kit mimics Neuvillette's kit (and you'll soon see that it looks nothing like Furina's) might be because Traveler has been mimicking the dragons' powers all along, and it just happened to look like the kit of the archons because they have all adapted to using the gnosis over the years.
The greatest usurper above is probably the heavenly principles or primordial one.

Honestly this seems like a spoiler. Maybe the hudro gnosis wont be taken this time and instead Neuvillette will help the Fatuis when the time comes as a mutual enemy agreement.

Someone has not been keeping up with genshin lore. The book Before Sun and Moon basically flat out states that the primordial one usurped Teyvat from the Dragon Sovereigns and their King after a war that lasted an unknown amount of time (and no, 40 years is likely not how long it lasted. 40 years is likely just being used to say that the war lasted a very long time and is not meant to be taken literally). The Primordial One is a usurper by every definition of the word since they are not native to Teyvat and claimed ownership of the world from the Dragon King after said war.
Well… if we think about it the dragons were the first living thing on Teivat, they technically are the only thing native from the planet, after that the "first who came" (aka the primordial one) "usurped" the throne of the dragon king (i dont remember the actual term or name but Apep names it) and vanquished him and all the dragons… then the humans were created by the primordial one
Oh, the Primordial one definitely usurped Tevyat away from the dragons and gave it to humans. Hence she established the new heaven, a.k.a. Celestia, and thus became the sustainer of her heavenly principles. And she needs to uphold the heavenly principles if she wants humans to live in peace.
But then, why did the Khaenri'ahs get such severe punishment from her? Unless they betrayed the heavenly principles by using the power of abyss, a.k.a. the sinner, it wouldn't make sense. Which leads me to believe that the Sinner is the dragon King defeated by the Primordial one who is somehow still alive but now he possesses the dark power of the abyss. Maybe dragons decompose into abyssal powers when they die? That would explain the withering after Apep's internal creatures died.

The thing is the heavenly principles that we know is the second descender and the first one actually stole the powers of the primodial or the existing ruling dragons at that time and made gnosis out of them which made the existing dragons's predecessors weak and making the currents one weak aswell or else they can easily beat the archon's even in their awakened forms well just from what is according to lore i grasped using the connection of different dialogues and timeline arrangement
