I work with elderly and most don't even want Christmas to happen anymore, at least the ones not too dement. To most the holidays hurt, because it reminds them of how many people in their life are gone or have passed. The archons must feel similar, especially the human ones. An endless wait, yearning to feel whatever, awaiting a similar fate to the ones you miss
