Sumeru's Second Weekly Boss (Genshin Theories and Speculation)

Weekly Bosses are some of the toughest enemies we have to face down in Genshin Impact. In today’s video, like I did for Inazuma, I share my ideas on who or what Sumeru’s Second Weekly Boss could be.

  1. The Lost Hermitage | Apep's Resort – viewpoint

It is said that a friend of King Deshret once built their court in a great cavern beneath the dunes.

Wenut served here as court officials, and flying serpents as companions. But today, both creatures have lost their noble wit and vigor.

  2. The giant turtle’s design is very much similar to desert sumpter beasts, maybe this is the primo sumpter beast, like we have primo geovishap for the vishaps , lets see how it turns out.

  3. I'm surprised you didn't go with this, but Shesha could be used as a surviving member of the Seven Sovereigns, the dendro dragon who survived the war with the primordial one, awoken by the Abyss order to be used as a weapon against Celestia. You yourself say his name means, "he who remains", what better group to tie that to then the first true rulers of Teyvat?

The King god Deshret had 4 vassals : The goat King, dog? King, the crocodile King and the last one I forgot but their was one of Deshret that was not choose as the vassal Apep. So yeah ….
I love the parallel with Rhuka they can perhaps been related somehow too.

  5. a bit of a spoiler, in the Falcon's Hunt world world quest we can get another of liloufar's fragment and it basically confirmed that the Goddess of Flower is a seelie

stating that Jinns are descendants of seelies

  6. Another interesting thing about Nahida’s demo is how Enkanomiyan creatures, who are only supposedly to exist down there are swimming in the air with her, we’ve already seen the connection between The Chasm and Enkanomiya with their odd shared architecture as well as other unnamed/ Khaenri’ahn ruins, so perhaps sometime in 4.x we will see further expansions of the desert, perhaps old remnants of other lost cities or something similar, and we’ll see even more Enkanomiyan architecture, my theory is that the purpose for the ruin serpent, which is described to be digging for a specific purpose and is the reason why there’s a heavy abyss presence in the chasm, is to branch all of the forgotten regions together through tunnel systems to essentially mishmash a new Khaenri’ah, by using harnessed energy from every region’s celestial nails an by combining their architecture I believe somewhere under Liyue could be the new Khaenri’ah, which has some merit due to an old leak a year ago stating at some point a large area underneath Liyue would open up, but wouldn’t be the chasm.
    Just some food for thought

  7. I had my videos on auto play and this whole time I thought you were Teyvat Historia, You both sound alike. Great video tho! I hope you can make a video on King Deshret and Goddess of Flowers!

  8. It doesn’t have to be related to the regions inspired cultures. Zhongli weekly boss was Azdaha which is a snake like dragon in Iranian mythology and Inazuma’s were just Raiden, no cultural significance.
