  1. Give it a month, after her banner leaves everyone wants to know her rerun 😂 they expect too much and set the bar too high for initial release characters. They expect one shot when they hear DPS lolll the fact that you can make zhongli a cryo DPS and kill things as a meme build, yea the games getting easy

  2. I checked out of the reddit community during yae miko's release and I gotta say, I'm enjoying the game significantly more. Yae isn't the strongest, but I think people are gonna realize her burst hits like a truck (over 1000% scaling) and that's the direction she'll be played in

  3. the only thing i hate about yae's gameplay so far is that her totems are destroyed after you use her Q. you have to recast them and it breaks the flow of gameplay a little you know. it's feels like mhy/hyv likes to throw in a bit of jank on the character that's makes them harder to play but not in any meaningful way. it's not really the power level for me but how the character feels to play. i love yae tho. she my wife i kiss her. nothing will stop me from using her 😀

  4. She's fun, a pretty character and does great dmg, I'm completely happy with her.
    Some people just want broken ass characters to delete everything in a single tap, like… this is a PBE game … Relax! Imagine how toxic it would be if it had pvp!

  5. Yae Miko's power level is just moderate, not too strong nor too weak. But I believe the problem lies on her gameplay design. Her elemental skill, which is actually the main source of her damage, and not her elemental burst, takes too much field time and doesn't grant any invincibility frames while casting it.

    Another problem is that casting her burst would destroy the totems and you have to cast them again which wastes a whopping 5-6 seconds which is just bad for a sub DPS.

    But honestly I agree that this game isn't all about meta, people should just feel free to pull for whoever they like, instead of convincing others not to pull for a certain character because they are not op

The complaints for her kit is valid IMO. hate the fact a 90 burst is wasted just bc of some targeting issue thats locked in 1 place and her E takes long for 6 seconds (without dmg to enemies too) that your team could've made a rotation during the abyss. For a sub dps with the lowest DEF, she takes too much field time that shes prone to taking damage.

  8. eh the problem with her isn't so much damage is it? its the feel of her gameplay. i don't even own her and i think its atrocious that she's one of the buggiest characters they've released if anything.

  9. I dont think shes weak. And i think her power level is fine. Her kit just feels awkwardly designed is all. Whats the point of having 3 separate turret charges when youll only ever spam all 3 at once, making em effectively one turret anyways. Why make the ult eat the turrets if youre just gonna replace them anyways. Isnt that the same as just refreshing the timer? So its not that shes weak or anything. Its that she just feels awkward and counterintuitive to play. Like her kit was designed to play a certain way with certain things in mind when theres no reason for those mechanics to exist in the way her kit currently works.

    Its almost like if xingqiu had 3 E charges on a 7 second cooldown and gained one rain sword every time he tapped it and his Q only worked at max effectiveness if you had all 3. Youd always tap all 3 as though they were simply one entity. So why are there even 3? Better to just make it pop all 3 on one tap with 3× the cooldown. And better to make the Q independent of it. If it will literally always be available for the Q anyways, why make it required for the Q?

    Its not that shes bad. Its not that shes good. Its just that her kit's cohesion simply doesnt make sense. It adds extra pointless fluff to playing her that she has 0 reason to even have. Why do her turrets have 3 damage scales when you will literally only ever have level 3. Why does the ult use the turrets if it just gives them back. If the ult is just giving the turrets back, why doesnt it simply refresh them or automatically replace them anyways?

    For alot of people it has nothing to do with her damage output. It has to do with her kit simply being designed poorly. Almost as though it was designed a certain way with certain things in mind (spoilers, it was), they retconned the design (spoilers, they did) without removing the gameplay that the prechanged design was built around while the new design no longer uses that thought process (notice how she doesnt have any cooldown management or thought about how big you want her burst to be. Spoilers, she was originally designed where you had to think about that.)

    If she had to think about how many turrets she wanted out at a time and wether or not it was worth burning them to pump her nuke, or if she wanted to fire off a max level nuke that might make her not able to fire another max next time or she wanted to consistently hit mid level nukes back to back, then this kit would make sense. Youd have to think about how many turrets you had out. When to fire the nuke. How her cooldowns line up. Thats how her kit was originally supposed to be. Now of course, that wouldnt work well on genshin for obvious reasons and they caught that. so they reworked her to where simply everything is always available at its max capacity for her. But when they did that, they left the core design of the previous kit in tact with no actual reason to be there. And lo and behold, with weird having to drop 3 separate turrets that will always be in one spot touching eachother anyways like 1 turret. Its weird to have your ultimate scale off of the amount of turrets when theres only one amount that will ever be out and it will always be out. 3. And its weird having your ultimate consume your turrets when by design it just gives them back anyways. Its also weird that it gives them back when it just took them away instead of refreshing their timer or replacing them like other examples. Kokomi on refresh and fischl on replace. It was already clunky to drop 3 turrets to begin with. Now thats reinforced by you having to do it again

    Simple fix? Keep all her numbers the same. Theyre fine. Just make her tap E drop all 3 turrets either on a ground target or in a triangle around herself. One or the other. Or technically they could make a hold feature to apply both but thats aside from the point. Point is. 3 turrets are 1 entity already. Just make them 1 input on a 12s cooldown. EZ. Q can power up off turrets sure. But just make it either yes turret or no turret. Not how many turrets. Theyre always all out so that doesn't matter. Last just make it either relocate the turrets to where it hits or make it just refresh their current timer. Done. Its really as simply as cutting out the literally pointless mechanics. And she has alot of pointless mechanics.

    Her kit would work almost the exact same and do the exact same damage. Shed just be less awkward and incoherent. Feels almost like the situation where they reworded raiden, forgot it messed up a certain interaction that was clearly supposed to be an option, and then just released it. They halfass changed a design without actually accommodating that change properly. Which naturally made interactions that simply seem illogical or redundant.

  10. so I just got Miko and I was scrolling some social platforms and then I saw a post saying Yae Miko is bad I regret pulling her but excuse me, sir or madam but maybe you should have done the free trial first so you could see if you are comfortable with the character like why do you hype a character up before release and when they come you are suddenly degrading them? My friend has been playing for a long time and she said a lot of the players skipped the Zhongli banner too but look at the players now Zhongli is one of the characters who had gone from 0 to 100 so maybe just have patience. Plus she doesn't have a good set for her right now so try to wait ok.

  11. its not that shes a ganyu that people hate her, its that her e will hit a god damn cooking pot over the gosh darn enemy, the ai is busted…. if they fix that and make her e targget the highest hp enemy she would be alot better… but no they gave us this, and a burst that costs an arm and a leg if you dont have baal.

  12. I don't have Raiden (yet), and I was saving my resources and primos for Raiden, but I tried out Yae in the trial event, and I saw huge potential. I ended up rolling for her, and after investing valuable mats that I need to replenish for Raiden, I am NOT disappointed. Her ult is good, but it is her totems that make her so valuable imo. You put down 3 totems each dealing (in my case, you may be better, I get it) 20k each pulse per totem. I added her to my Eula comp, and gd that was disgusting. I put Yae in an all support team (Zhongli, Bennett, Sucrose) and things just dissolve. My plan is to use Yae with Raiden after that one quest where I got to use them together. In my opinion, people are sleeping on Yae, but to each their own. Not understanding why you would be getting hate for this.

  13. finally someone who gets it.being so hard up for meta in a game that has no ranking system and the difficulty of reciting your ABC's is pointless.
    you can 36* clear even current abyss without using elemental interactions.
    pull for who you like game isn't difficult.

  14. bro i just play and try to get the characters that i love(all of them but im not that lucky ;-;) i got yae cause i like her personality and she is really pretty i dont get why people focus on how good she is maybe its just me idk but people should play who they want without caring if the character is good or not cause in the end ur supposed to have fun (sorry i’m not good with punctuation etc) sorry if i offend anyone i just wanted to state my opinion, have a good day/night

  15. I personally love her my only gripe really is the lack of i frame but that got me to really practicing dodging rather than simple skill spam. She’s awesome when looped with Baal. I like to try abyss but on my own terms with my own team setups like currently my new favorite team is kokomi, yae, Baal, and kazuha and I get awesome results from that team loop

  16. Well, I wouldn't say Miko is a very "flexible" unit by any means… not only that, I agree she's very "conditional" (i.e. you need to fill conditions to tap into her potential)…

    I'd say Yae Miko without Raiden is going to be a completely different character from a Yae Miko with Raiden.

    That said, I see a lot of people that seem to be severely underestimating her… indeed her Burst hits really, really hard.

  17. I love her design and I really want to work with Raiden better than she does atm… They both have the same role but Raiden outperforms her specially with her broken constellations. Still I got and play her with her signature weapon because… you know… fox waifu?

  18. I said the same thing and even emphasized how regular and middle of the pack she is. I can’t put it into words how people needs to only pull her if they want her, not for meta or performance. She’s fun and that’s about it. I love her, I don’t do the abyss, she’s works for me. That’s about the end of it. Of course some adjustments would be nice but I’m gonna triple crown her regardless.
