  1. All the answers to the questions of what is that puzzle looking thingy , is to follow Rana. A big portion of Sumeru world is locked behind Rana world quest so i hope you do it.
I would love to hear you pronounce every Aranara names lol

  2. That’s the Aranyaka World Quest, it’s the longest world quest in all of Sumeru.

    Small guide to pronounce Aranara

    A-ra-na-ra Aranara

    A-ran-ya-ka World Quest

Oh and you can use Electro on those bouncy mushrooms, you can bounce higher.

  3. dendro and electro sigils are accepted at the thunder sakura in the shrine and the place to redeem dendro sigils is unlocked by a quest

sumeru introduces an aspect of discrimination to the narrative of genshin and when you get to certain characters it becomes more obvious, hence the akasha specifically mentioning it shares information to only certain people and demographics. especially in regard to microagressions. sometimes they do it well sometimes it falls flat but as a poc it was really interesting and some of the characters' stories resonated with me

the corps of thirty are mercenaries hired by the akademiya. sumeru doesnt have a military and so contracts eremites and people from the desert for that. the whole bureaucracy of the akademiya is honestly really interesting and i'll def go further into depth abt it once the archon quest is over since you get more comfortable with some of the terms there

  4. he saw Rana and I was like "oh noooo" but to be honest I like this quest even if it's long, I cannot put down the phone because of it. and this battle music is my FAVORITE, the thoughts behind that theme (Swirls of Shamshir) is just pure genius. I love all of genshin's sound track but I believe this is when I became a big fan. Hoyo-Mix is in my top 5 artist during spotify wrap loool

  5. Just so you know, the quest with Rana (the ranger girl) is a looooooooooooooong quest. Like when you think it would end, there's even more to it, and this happens many times. For that quest, take it slow.

  6. Hey Roamer! Just a heads up- many players struggled with exploration in the desert. Genshin has since added layered maps making exploration easier and it's not as bad as people might say! I 100% the desert before the layered maps and it wasn't bad, my one tip is to start the world quests asap and follow it as you explore. It will go much smoother as you'll have the items you need

  7. Sumeru City is so gorgeous! But I also get lost pretty much every time I need to find something there lol

Excited to see you exploring! Sumeru is really dense and there are so many cool places to explore here! You'll also meet a very interesting cast of characters in the next few episodes! I'm really enjoying the way you're pacing this new Archon Quest so far!

  8. Idk… So rukhadevta or rukhadevata as its written in proper english.. the pronounciation of other people just felt off for it most of the time.. and the reason for it is in my language this name makes so much sense. It basically translates to tree god – Rukha means tree and devta means god or goddess. As someone who's country is probably taken inspiration from for this region based on many names you will see on npcs and characters.. i do believe that it was supposed to be rukh-devta but English always does us dirty by adding additional "a"s in the spelling of our actual deities so I'm not surprised that the same is happening in genshin. Maybe that's how the english language works.. still it makes people more confused rather than help them.

  9. Sumeru is wonderful to explore!! You won’t even believe how many different types of puzzles and game mechanics you’ll end up encountering here (like, as in I would be surprised if you even encountered all of them by the time you finish the archon quest). I will let u know though that a dendro character is definitely helpful for exploration here since dendro reacts with many of the puzzle items here. And also some of the puzzles/mechanics are locked behind World Quests. So World Quests like the Aranyaka one will be very important for that (it’s also a beautiful quest that you’ll love)

  10. I feel kinda bad that people have “warned” you about that Rana/Aranyaka world quest chain :(. I don’t want you to feel intimidated by it or anything. It’s a truly beautiful quest that also will give you major overarching lore information. It can take a long time to do because it has many parts and the dialogue is very hefty (but imo you can sort of skim through the dialogue in that quest and still understand the story perfectly well) but other than that it’s a really fun quest that honestly helps bring the whole rain forest of sumeru to life.

  11. another nation of him not reading the 3 lines of text about mechanics and not understanding anything, and when he does get to read, reads the first 3 words of the text, thinks he understand and leaves to fail XD

  12. Sumeru exploration is bit different from other nations since a lot of mechanics and places are locked behind quests… One of which is the infamous aranara quest. You will have to do it to unlock a lot of places and dendroculuses. No spoilers just follow rana everything will eventually unfold.

  13. Btw, i am not sure if you have noticed but.

1- Fungi gives two different drops. drop A if they were affected by pyro or electro. drop B if they were killed otherwise.
2- All the characters(nahida, baizhu, kaveh, nilou, tighnari, etc) use this type of drop along with some weapons. Type A drop is used only for a few weapons(aka less use)

Hope this helps you with forming teams in case you set out to farm for these characters(using pyro and electro will make the farming annoying as you would almost never get Type B). Have fun in Sumeru.
