  1. First: chill it's not a guide and if you want to hear me talk about childes kit in depth, watch my childe guide.
    Second: 7:58 i said xingqiu was xianglings best synergy, this is wrong. it was like 4am when i recorded and i know that childe is better with xiangling than xingqiu i just misspoke when recording. my bad. i hate feeling like i need to delete an entire video because of mispeaking 2 words.

    LOTS of people saying Childe is better DPS than Xingqiu, I could have been more specific so that's my bad. I was comparing overall utility, not damage. XQ wins in overall utility bc he heals, gives damage reduction, and enables every pyro DPS. Childe does more damage bc of aoe and is a better fit for national with Xiangling but overall XQ is still a better unit.

    one thing I didnt mention for sets: bolide is a good set for him too with a shield (beidou c2 is great if you can dodge, but not with XL comp bc overload knocks enemies away)

    Could have killed Magu Kenki 30-40 seconds faster if I used stance longer but I accidentally hit the E key. It was all live so no do-overs :^)

  4. I have been using him in a fireworks team with raiden and yoimiya. After raising yoimiya and about to crown her. Having a team where I can swap a powerful single target, to a powerful aoe is fantastic. He is not hitting as amazing high damage as yoimiya but 5-8k on his skill hits with a 10k raw hydro on his burst is great. It deals with those crowds so quick when paired with raiders e skill.

  9. Honestly I pulled for Childe because he's the only character that can change attack range, which in several occasions I find useful while exploring the world map. There times when I usually run a full melee team (because I don't want to use my Friendship 10 characters on certain occasions), and sometimes there are enemies that ambushes the team, these enemies are usually better taken care off with ranged attacks. When I don't have a bow or catalyst user around I usually have to run away first before I can swap party members. But when I have Childe present it makes things simplier.

  10. im pulling for childe cause

    1 – i dont have a good polearm for hu tao

    2 – i dont have any water character

    3 – i have bennet, xiangling and baal build, so, i think child will be better than hu tao

  11. The deal with tartaglia is that his DPS is extremely hard to quantify, especially when you're dealing with a large number of enemies. His damage does not scale linearly, but instead quadratically, based on the number of enemies on the field. This is increased exponentially with C4. Also, it's important to understand what he's capable of doing with Riptide using kazuha. He can cause chain reactions that can eliminate entire floors of characters. In my opinion, tartaglia is the strongest single DPS in the game, whether or not you choose to define him as a main DPS or sub dps.

    However, one of the least understood mechanics of C6 Fischl is that her bird has no internal cooldown and will attack as fast as your character does. With tartaglia, you get so many attacks it's absolutely unreal.

  19. The nice thing of Childe is he gives opportunity to welkin or f2p players a chance to experience a top tier team comp which consist of only one c0 five star which is childe himself. Xiangling is free and I believe majority of players own Bennett now. And the fourth place you just put whatever. And you didn't mention how well childe can utilize his supports or "吃拐率” in Chinese. (I'm Chinese so I got this info through cn content creators). You really can't compare to xingqiu in terms of dps. A well built Tartag should hit 200k on it's ult and 8-10k normal aa *with all the buffs given by the supports*. But xingqiu does gives you a better environment to deal damage but that shouldn't be a prob if you played the game for long enough

  21. Everything old will be power creeped in 3.0 so why buy a 1.0 char now, in 2.0 ? Just no. If this char is getting better only because miHoYo is selling a new weapon for 300 USD … rofl … go ahead and buy it guys …

    The entire gacha system is a scam and even worse, on top of the gacha scam there is the resin scam, pay to play system – turning your own PC into a slot machine.
    I cannot even think how stupid must me a regular player to buy resin. Yes, content creators are refilling their resin to have more content so they could make more money – see the leak from Twitch – and yes, they aren't using own money, but viewers money, so it's another story.

    Thanks for the video. A good showcase to understand that whatever unit you use, the game stays the same. If you spend like 24.000 primogems so you could farm a few hundreds every month form the abyss … lol … is it smart ?! … ermmmm :)))) you got your answer.

  24. Pulling for him 🙂 Just waiting on re-run banner to release. I have Xingqiu and other hydro units like Barbara and Mona but I mostly use them for support builds. Plan on making Childe a hydro sub-DPS and enabler.

  25. i started using childe just a few weeks ago just for fun coz i thought those high scaling burst dmg is good for a f2p account but he's more of an enabler than a swap and burst character.
    im thinking of pulling for hutao and the spear but im saving for yae miko
    hope you will made this kind of vid for hutao next time!!

  29. I've got enough primogems saved up to guarantee either Kokomi or Childe, but I'm not sure who would be best to go for. In terms of hydro characters I only have Barbara and Xingqiu, and they're both max level.

  30. question… have you tried Yoimiya and Childe as a pair? I got Yoimiya and also wanted to get Childe (actually the reason I started playing genshin hahahaha) I hope I do get him huhu… they can both cover each other's cooldowns and Yoimiya's team atk bonus from her passive can strengthen vaporize dmg. also Childe's mastery of weaponry is a big bonus for Yoimiya <3

  31. I love Tarti. He's been the unit I've been using the most in the overworld lately along with Xiangling, Bennett and Raiden. He's fun to use and helps Gouba be the god he once was. I use him with Rust, no five star weapon, and can hit 8k damage frequently 🙂 His hydro has AOE capabilities, so using him with a crowd control unit is not a bad choice imo.

    I'm so glad I caught him on his second rerun and I'm hoping to get his weapon next banner 🙏🏻 I hope anyone that wants him can get him too 👌🏻
