This was just a quick observation I made about the similarities between Sparkle from Honkai StarRail and Columbina of The Fatui Harbingers in Genshin Impact.

Amazing theory! Her power has been hinted by Scaramouche to be something related with conscience…So i think instead of outright transformation she can posses the power of illusion and false dreams or memories,she can enter your head and make you see whatever she wants you to see and can even manipulate you into thinking you are living in the regular world and barely anything has changed when in reality you are under her spell. She is the most intriguing character for me and am saving to C6 R5 her one day, can't wait to see her go off!🔥
I have been saying that The Masked Fools are the HSR counterpoint to the Fatui for a while now.
But it didn't dawn on me until your videos that Sparkle and Columbina (Commedia) are so similar – despite being familiar with the Commedia Dell'arte.
And by that logic…. we also know who Il Capitano (Genshin) will be based on the description of Il Capitano (Commedia): A flirtatious, ostentatious fraud who is always exaggerating his combat prowess and other feats, but flees at the first sign of danger. Not only that, he often wears a military-esque costume.
I am of course talking about Sampo Koski.
EDIT: Didn't think I had to say this, but I guess I do. I am only speaking about the model (and maybe name) – not the personality. Like the Unlikely Genshin Gamer state, the Fatui Harbingers are inverses of their Commedia Dell'arte counterparts. So, you would expect Il Capitano (genshin) to be an outstanding, honest to a fault, brave warrior.
It also helps that Fatui quite literally means ‘fools’ in Latin

video criticism, how about we don't use sparkles attention stealing flashy demo during the theory explanation, it clashes heavily with your intended slow talk form of video. I couldn't hear anything because of it, had to turn on subtitles to have something to focus on.
Anyway your theory is nice, certainly has points. But just by the choice of song during la signora funeral, I doubt columbina is gonna be a path of elation if sparkle is supposed to be deadpool, I don't play star rail btw, I'm basing this on whatever has been presented. Maybe columbina can be crazy who knows, but she ain't gonna be sparkle in your face crazy. At least she knows the time and place to stop chasing fun.
but the trickery and background character part interested me. The ability to just slip out of focus perhaps.
It's a tangent, but i am thoroughly obssessed with venti and columbina being foils of each other thematically. The way they both have a superficially naive and youthful exterior but mysterious powers and secrets hinted to be underneath, the angelic imagery and gauzy/feathery white aesthetics, and most interestingly (to me at least) their respective associations with death, transcience, and song — I'm not sure to what end these thematic parallels exist or even if they are purely coincidental, but if they are intentional they open up an interesting rabbit hole of implications about the game's universe.
This might mean absolutely nothing but I find interesting the fact that Columbina shares the same CN VA with Black Swan (Star Rail) and Aponia (Honkai Impact 3rd). As I said this might mean nothing but CN VAs sometimes voice the same character across games for example Acheron (Star Rail), Raiden Ei (Genshin Impact), and Raiden Mei (Honkai Impact 3rd) share the same CN VA.
The Aeons are actually more Similar to The Heavenly Principles with the Emanators being more Similar to the Archons with Path Striders being more Similar to the Vision Bearers…
I mean I have a clear type for girls and I'm a fan of both so-
Amazing theory, the harbingers ranked not just in strength, but in political power. I think, the Natlan war was something Columbina did for fun and it's spiralled to the current day. Maybe captaino joined to stop the mess she created

Imagine we have to fight Columbina and she makes herself look like our sibling D:
Sparkle counterpart in Genshin is Hutao, Sparkle basically the evolving personality of Hutao, so i think Columbina will be the same but still the opposite of both personality
So if that means IF the futui are fallen "Masked Fools" then wouldn't the travler whos been traveling worlds for so long notice this eventually? after all they must have come across Masked Fools during their travels
Just for more proof of the counterparts, we have Murata Himeko in Honkai Impact 3rd, Himeko in Honkai Star Rail, and Murata the (unreleased) pyro archon in Genshin. They all have connections through their names and Himeko and Murata Himeko both look similar so it’s not far off that Murata does too. Seeing this it’s not too unreasonable that Sparkle is a counterpart to colombina.
