I've mained Barbara and she can actually DPS. Her healing is one of the best in the game but her damage is of course not that good. That doesn't mean that she you can't build her. If you actually want to, try doing so yourself first. Try using reactions more.

i have since mained venti on my alt account-
Bruh, nuke Barbara is my jam! Crowned auto attack and R4 Widsith. She's the only one that i know of who can drop a nuke, turning enemies into clouds of ash and rainbows, while at the same exact time healing the whole squad (I run a 4 piece hydro which gives me atk bonus when i use my skill.) And she never misses! Building her as a healer is a waste, in my opinion. Even built as a DPS, her healing is still more than sufficient. Just max out that flower/HP artifact artifact and you'll be straight (My flower artifact has a 27% Crit DMG substack). I'm still working on my Crit DMG (44/170), but my Barbara still drops bombs at 60k without food buffs. She was my only hydro character for the longest time, so she got a priority build early on. I've got a lvl 1 Xingqiu and Mona now just sitting on the bench because Barbara is my queen. Bad Bitch Barbara.
