  1. It would also be cool to see them update char models based on future ones they make! Crossing my fingers for a future buff fem model and I'd love to see some older chars with a model like that

  2. The easiest route would be to simply buff older characters. But that doesn't solve some characters play style or extreme weakness do to skill design. So other then possibly buffing them, releasing new ways to support them would be better. Be it 4 stars that synergies with those older characters better then some newer ones or new weapons and artifact sets. The least likely route would be actually updating the characters but it may be something they can look into if China passes that new law and makes pull rates become more 'reasonable' along with a direct purchase option

  3. I want to see them update the textures of older characters too match the quality of the newer characters. Beidou looks great by herself, but put her next to Yelan or Ayato, and her outfit looks a lot rougher in comparison.

Also, make Noelle's and Ayaka's armor rigid instead of textured cloth.

  4. In Older 5-star Characters the only one doesn't need to change is Jean since Anemo is very flexible in reactions + she has Atk scaling already

What I want to see changes are:
*Diluc and Keqing should have at least Atk Scalings
*Qiqi's skill should have lower cd like 20sec since her healing duration is 15sec and you have to wait 15sec more to use it again
*Dehya's Kit should have higher scalings

But I complain more things than the characters

  5. Buff Dehya. That's all I need. Idc about other standart chars. They're all really good in a lot of teams (Mostly thanks to Furina and Dendro). But even Furina can't help Dehya and make her do more damage than full hp noblesse Bennet

  6. Warning: this is a Keqing Rant, I apologize.
I saw a lot of that targeted at Keqing, which is fair and I agree, and even though I have a fair few (4) of her cons after 3 years of playing I think the only thing she needs is a few scaling tweaks. My lvl 50, no ascention, Navia at lvl 1 talents with FOUR STAR Martial Artist artifacts (which are like, sub par)and a lvl 70 BELL was cracking nearly 20k and all I did was attach a Kaeya burst or Qiqi skill while she had a Zhongli Shield so I could pay more attention to my stacks than her health. No other buffs, maybe some Tenacity (Kaeya has on 4pc glad). Meanwhile it takes me building my entire team around buffing Keqing and choosing art sets that can consistently buff her DMG and giving her Ayakas weapon to get her to max out at 50k with the final slash of her burst, and a fairly consistent 23k with the initial skill slash. My Keqing is triple crowned, and like I said I build my entire team (F2P friendly for 3 years of gameplay) around her and while yes she's the team I have the most fun with, I'll never be able to clear the abyss with her, and I have a feeling that Clorinde is gonna wipe her off the face of the planet. She is the character who's playstyle made me fall in love with the game to begin with, and my favorite thing is her versatility, especially with more NA friendly sets being introduced. To see her about to get dragged through the mud when Clorinde gets released is gonna break my heart cause I just know she's gonna be a better hyperbloom on field DPS than Cyno or Keqing could ever hope to be. Some scaling adjustments would just be nice to make her numbers go up a little would go such a long way and that's 100% true for other characters as well I'm just most familiar with Keqing specifically. And before someone comes at me with "just get Nahida and put Shimenawa on her hurr hurr hurr" I've pulled for Nahida every single banner among other chars I've wanted and she just hasn't come home yet which only proves the point that it doesn't have to require so much effort in pulling for a very specific character to buff your fav so they do enough DMG to clear the abyss, and don't get me wrong I have a lot of respect for the people with the time and effort and patience I am simply not one of those people, I want to clear the abyss with all of my fav characters at least once but that's just not going to happen for Keqing when bosses are going to get harder and they add more digits to the health and DMG pools

  7. My main team has been traveler (anemo until sumeru came out), amber, kaeya, and barbara for like the first year bc i didn't care about trying new characters. They're still my main team but i use different teams for different situations, something i did not do at all beforehand.

  8. It would be great, but it’s very unlikely. Granblue Fantasy is one of the few gacha games I know that updates older characters, but the system the game uses may just be easier to rebalance.

  9. People forget that there's videos explaining their kits in details (unless you're counting in only changes in numbers)
But even not thinking about that, you have you remember that if they can buff characters, they can also nerf them. It's a double edged sword

  10. honkai impact has a system called "augment core" which is kind of a post-launch buff system! it's basically a brand new kit for a certain unit, but there are only seven instances of it in the whole game and it can be super expensive to unlock fully (you do get special outfits once you've unlocked most of it, though, which is pretty cool tbh)

  11. I feel like the only update I'm interested in is better in-game models. Albedo's, Xiao's and Zhongli's hair looks a bit crispy, not in a good way. Older character clothing seems a lot simpler than the new stuff. Diluc's and Kaeya's skins improved their looks quite a bit from their base looks, for example, and both of them are so much better than the skins Jean and Barbara had released first. As with everything that has years of progression, it's bound to happen, but still.

However, I wouldn't mind actual buffs and dusting their kits as well to match newer characters.

All in all, I agree with you that the power creep isn't as evident in this game as it is in others, and thank God for that. Diluc, Zhongli, Xiao, Kaeya and Childe are still saving my ass years later lol
