Ganyu has long been regarded as one if (if not) the most powerful characters in the game for her insane consistent damage, huge flexibility with builds, team comps AND playstyles, plus she’s Ganyu, who doesn’t love Ganyu? But today I wanted to take an objective look at all the changes that have set Ganyu back with the time between her first banner and her upcoming rerun, so that we can figure out if she’s still as valuable and strong as everyone says she is.

  2. i love ganyu as a character but i dont really like her playstyle and the idea of consistently using bow charged attacks, i do have amos bow though, i would get her and use as a sub dps but im wishing for zhongli. id prefer a strong shield in my team, so that hu taos attacks stop getting interrupted, rather than another main/sub dps right now. good luck to anyone wishing for ganyu <3

  4. thanks for this. right now im saving my primos for ganyu its best to ask more advices and tips bcos im torn right now getting zhongli too. the thing is, if i win getting shenhe (50/50 right now) i'll be getting ganyu next . i am currently ayaka main but with this new meta of shenhe the best cryo buffer so far, i want to get her too…

  15. Yes I'm rather sick of seeing people saying "Ayaka is better than Ganyu in every way, and Ganyu is trash!". Comments like that just show how ignorant these people are. While I agree I don't see much reason to have ganyu as the main dps over ayaka in a freeze comp for abyss. Melt ganyu team's DPS is definitely comparable to Ayaka's freeze team. Though her true values really lie in her flexibility to ultilize melt/freeze teams as well as capable of being a support/dps.

  17. truth is, there's no guaranteed 100% versatile characters. mhy rotates each element strength from weak to strong and from strong to weak anytime they like. More mainly on what they're trying to sell to players. If they think players aren't spending much on dendro, they could just release spiral abyss that had everything weak against dendro but super tough against other elements.
    To however secure your strength in getting by abyss, you probably might want to get the highest peak dmg dealers of each elemen. Also keeping some very good support characters lvled up. Xingqiu , bennet , kazuha and venti would be part of that equation to succes too.

  22. About the doggos, ganyu is one of the better match against them I feel. All of her attacks can hit them unlike most melee units. And shes still the only one that can solo abyss f12 at C0R1
