  2. The language I use in the game depends on the character I play (haven’t tried Korean yet). I say, play with whatever you’re comfortable with since they’re all great.

    I just hate it when people trash talk the Eng dub in Genshin and glorify the JP dub. Y’all voice acting ain’t easy and the Eng voice actors did an impeccable job and gave so much personality to these characters

  3. just a heads up good sir, you in genshin you will be unlocking 3 nations as of 2.7, Inazuma will be the last, and liyue second. Until the next nation comes out in 3.0, (most likely), inazuma will probably have the HARDEST quest line/ LONGEST.

  10. the thing you're are most likely going to love about genshin is by far the music, it is absolutely astounding how good the sound track is. if you ever get the chance listen to the tracks by themselves because in normal gameplay they tend to just blend in and they are amazing

    I'd recommend watching Tsubaki in Thawing Snow as well, it's an additional trailer that was made for Ayaka's recent Rerun, it's really amazing!

  17. This might be spoilerish, but Genshin and One Piece have a lot of similarities, the backstory of the world of Teyvat in a place in Inazuma region called Enkanomiya could have spoiled what happened in the void century of One Piece but kind of flipped.
    To list down some of the similarites, 500 years ago in Genshin an ancient kingdom called Khaenriah was destroyed by Celestia, likewise 900 years ago in One Piece the Ancient Kingdom was destroyed by the 20 families.
    Celestia in Genshin is located on the sky, like how Marijoa in One Piece is located on top of the redline, both places are considered land of the gods, There's also a throne on Celestia as said by Dainsleif in the trailer, like how there is an empty throne inside Marijoa that Im-sama sat on. Celestia is technically the World Government in Genshin.
    The 7 archons are like the 7 warlords of the sea, both are employed by Celestia and WG/Marines.
    The abyss order, survivors of Khaenriah are like the clan of D if they are indeed from the ancient kingdom.
    Joyboy from 900 years ago is kind of like the missing sibling because that missing sibling experienced what happened 500 years ago, like how Joyboy experienced what happened in the void century, while the main character you chose is Luffy.
    One more, the Sumeru region in Genshin is basically Ohara, both places deal with wisdom/knowledge and a place of scholars
    edit: Forgot about the fatui that belongs to Snezhnaya, they are basically the revolutionary army, because it seems Snezhnaya plans on going against Celestia like how RA plans on going against the celestial dragons.

    Since, you love One Piece, I'm preety sure you'd love the overall story of Genshin as well, since these two are kind of similar. One Piece and Genshin's story might have been inspired by the same sources

    The overall backstory of the world of Genshin goes something like this "The primordial one came to the world of Teyvat and fought the 7 sovereign dragon lords, after defeating them the eternal throne of the heavens appeared on the sky (pressumed Celestia), and this caused the world to be remade" Sounds familiar? because if you turn it upside down in One Piece terms, "The 20 families came together and fought the ancient kingdom, after defeating them the holy land on top of the redline was made (assuming it didn't exist before) and this cause the world to be remade" So in One Piece's case, the 7 draongs are the 20 families that became the celestial dragon, while joyboy was the primordial one that was defeated instead of winning… And what's more, is that there is this period in genshin called "the second who came" that caused the 2nd throne of the heavens to appear and restarted the war, in One Piece the second who came is basically Luffy that will end up restarting the war that took place in the void century. The Primordial one in Genshin is suspected to be Phanes, was a deity of light and goodness, whose name meant "to bring light" or "to shine" and in One Piece, Joyboy/Nika/Luffy is the god of the sun who in a sense can bring light or can shine.

  18. If you're in for the story, grinding really doesn't matter (especially artifacts) but leveling up characters and weapons eases the gameplay within the story. And the story quests (which is different from the main/archon quest), requires keys which you can get by doing all dailies in two days.
