  1. By far gaming is the most relatable character for me. His love for tea and also passion for lion dance. Reminds me of my cousin that used to dream to be lion dancer and my love for wushu

  2. I love when MHY shares the process of making Genshin, it's characters and inspirations. You can see how all the departments are participating and at the end we see great results! Lion dance is charming – I hope tradition stays for long time!

  3. Quick suggestion to the Art team, please make Il Capitano with a very huge body kinda like Elden ring bosses and if he fights please add blood so he feels powerful 🙏🙏🙏❤ Love you Art department for your great effort

  4. i appreciate how much love and effort they put into gaming

they hold themselves to very exacting quality standards. just count all the times they said they weren't satisfied with something and all the iterations they clearly went through with different aspects to get them right. i'm amazed by how they did completely new things not just with gaming but also with making man chai, not to mention going over 3 years of material to update them to aesthetic standards

i hope they use all the things they learned about lion dance while developing gaming and put them together for an episode of a journey of art and heritage!

  5. going out of the comfort zone of gacha games by incorporating various cultures outside of the mainstream cultures commonly used in gacha games such as Chinese and Japanese cultures.
The price you have to pay is that your game will be hated by most "Gacha players" because of the lack of "fan service" in the Gacha player version, the lack of swear words, but liked by non-Gacha players.

Gacha players don't really like new things, they are too happy with their comfort zone, so when there are new players outside of gacha, they say that the players outside of gacha are "normies".

Even though they don't know that people who have never played Gacha don't necessarily not play other games. Who knows, maybe the standards of Gacha players are too low for games, or vice versa.

always respect seeing video BTS like this
make ppl realize its not about "JUST"

  6. absolutely stunning, the work you guys put into just one character alone. it's insane how much love and heart you put into your work. I love Gaming and he is my favourite character right beside Kazuha and knowing how much work was put into his design makes me realize, what the entire team is doing behind the curtains. keep up the fantastic work, hoyo ♥

  7. Yup, that's why I love Genshin, the quality, all the traditions and cultures they take inspiration from and just overall the amount of effort they put into the details to bring about the final masterpiece…

But I do have a feeling they are uploading all this to show their hardwork (which is no doubt deserving of appreciation) in order to get away with all the drama and giving less attention/not listening to their players, it is not just the rewards, but also the other aspects of the game which they do not pay much attention to. The problem is not where they do well in such beautiful way they create things in the game; the problem lies in the other part of the game which includes the combat and co-op (for everyone, including endgame) side of things, which is what most people (old/"maxed out" players) want; they love the game but don't have anything to do most of the time…
And really, with the amount of effort and the ways in which they are able to think of and implement things in the game, I am sure they can easily make something awesome for players to have fun (including co-op which shouldn't be JUST mini-games, but also include combat in new ways which we can have fun with friends or randoms; and also solo endgame content which you can enjoy when you don't have people or don't want to play with others)

Well, anyways this video was truly amazing! 🙂 ❤❤❤
