Requiem of the Echoing Depths | Genshin Impact

Divine calamity descended upon the ancient realm,
And within the deep darkness, a sorrowful reunion awaits.
We can no longer discern the roaring words of the guardians,
Until the requiem resounds in the Abyss.

  1. Some tips for you (just ignore it, it's just me feeling passionate about the game ^ ^) :

Give chevreuse the Noblesse Oblige set (HP – HP -HP) try to max her HP as much as you can + Black Tassel as weapon is pretty good in this team and if you have Xiangling you might consider change Thoma and give her an energy recharge weapon and energy sands πŸ™‚

(This team is actually good if Cyno has a god crit ratio, not as optimal but still pretty good)

    things to consider :

    – activate overload before swapping to chevreuse and use her hold E (like fischl then thoma or any pyro other than chevreuse) then Cyno to activate the attack buff (because you're not using Bennet)

-chevreuse doesn't buff overload, so EM is useless (her attack buff activates from overload, she uses the reaction not buffing it) also her main buff is for the pyro and electro damage not the reaction so you only need to do the reaction before swapping to her then fight with your DPS row damage

    – XL has consistent pyro application, so you might want her in the team with fischl

    – this team energy hungry, so thoma (XL) and fischl needs ER weapons

    – the rotation has many varation but an easy one is
    [ Cyno E – fischl E – pyro character E – chevreuse Q than Hold E -pyro character Q – Cyno Q]

it's not the most optimal, but easy to remember

good luck, I hope you had fun with this new team ^ ^

  2. When fighting opponents with shields, like Abyss Mages and Abyss Heralds, try not to attack them with the same element as their shield, as it's doing nothing. Only different elements can destroy the shield (some more, some less, depending on the element – for example, hydro is very effective against pyro shields).

  3. Oh! I forgot that last week we had a big offline event for TCG players in Asia

I watched some parts of the livestream, it was kinda fun

they even build parts of Cat's Tail as real furniture in the real world, it was amazing looking ^ ^

  4. you suppose to do a quest to unlock the underground area as part of the story, so the warp point down there is for people who want to skip the quest because i think there's a time limited event down there before so they want to make it accessible to newbie i guess

  5. I spend a week playing world quests in the Chasem to open it, you're so lucky that starting from this patch players can skip them to play the archon quest

but still the world quest make you explore the Chasem in it's intended way also it was really fun world quest encouraging the player to explore more ^ ^

  6. Huh, never realized how short this Archon Quest Chapter was until now. Also, I get that it's to help newer players catch up, but it feels weird seeing the quest separated from the Chasm Delvers questline.

  7. They actually change the questing of chasm this patch.. before you need to do the world quest "Chasm Delvers" to go inside the chasm but now it unlock the teleport waypoint on the part where the archon quest is… If you ask me as a exploration enthusiast i prefer to do the former way of unlocking the chasm where the world quest is connected to archon quest and the game slowly introduce you to many level of chasm rather than teleport you to where the AQ is.. but that only my preference and i understand why mihoyo give the option to shortcut the chasm to finished the archon quest without doing the WQ.

  8. Another banger vid. Btw you can press S+Spacebar to quickly get out the climbing animation, it feels much better. Oh and there is a world quest (the chasm delvers) for chasm which also has some interesting information that you might want to check out

  9. You're using Cyno way too much and he's at risk of being overwhelmed. There's nothing wrong with making him your main DPS, but he does need the support of his teammates in order to fight effectively, especially Fischl, who you're practically wasting by not keeping Oz on-field as often as possible. Your energy issues can be solved with proper use of Fischl, but if you need to go further, get yourself a Timepiece artifact with Energy Recharge as the main stat.

…Well, it isn't called the Chasm for nothing. It goes so deep you'll wonder how on earth to get back out without teleports. I don't actually know if it's possible, I've never tried.

  10. Hi!
Let's start the day with some pulls!

Ah so you like the Shogun now, I though that you do hated her for what she's done in the vision hunt period and wouldn't pull for her

Everyone's been getting Chevreuse but even after so many pulls I still didn't get her
    I even lost my 50/50
I'll probably save my guarantee for next banner at this point

You know, pity carries over between banners, so if you spend 10 out of 90 pulls this banner, in the next banner you'll still have the 10 out of 90 in pity so you don't need to fear doing the ten pull if you can

Interestingly, you couldn't do this mission right away because there's an entire world quest related to entering the chasm guest, though they let you teleport in right away now I think a part of the charm of the chasm is lost… but a 2h quest could easily become a 4-6h quest though hahaπŸ˜…

Oh I got to meet your Cyno card
I also have his card I want to build a deck around him, still not really sure what kind of deck

Let's go! Your first 1k damage, it seems like a difficult rotation for this team but if you have enough energy I think it'll be really fun

Also, don't forget to do the 5* character trials in the events tab because they give you primogems

Yeah it seems like you want to start with Thoma… Pyro then electro to get Chevreuse passive active, then electro and the hold E from Chrvreuse to get the atk boost, then Thoma and Cyno ultimate for constant overload, it looks really fun honestly

In the beginning there's really a lot if things to do, but you'll eventually catch up and you'll see that there's really not much left after you finish all the quests, so take your time, don't rush it the important thing is not feeling overwhelmed so you don't get burnout

19:36 so it's usually at this part that you notice you can't enter the chasm right away, you'd need to do the Chasm world quest, it's a great quest and it's easy to be distracted by it, now that they added the waypoint it's kinda… I dunno how to feel about it… It's good for new players and I can see some people being whiny about not getting to play the quest right away and be locked behind a world quest… It's just really appreciate the world-building of this game and think it should be experienced in the intended order

I do hope you get to do the Chasm world quest one day, the beginning of the surface of the Chasm near the waypoint, you'll see a big blue < ! > Over the Npc's head

The idea is that you're exploring the chasm and you even forget about this quest, then suddenly Dain shows up… But alas seeing you get lost and completely missing the world quest already showed me why they activated the waypoint πŸ˜…

29:48 well you see if you did the world quest… Haha ok ok I'll stop I sound like am annoying old man rambling about how things were back in the day

    Fight fight fight fight!!

51:21 look! It's the shot from the community post

You can definitely build Chrvreuse with Hp, her boost doesn't seem to scale from any stats from her so you can build her as a healer and she'll still be a good support

His spirit returned to the leylines, Halfdan was saved
So not all hope is lost

It's an amazing quest, there's a lot to unpack.

I'd still urge you to up your AR up to 40 and do Zhongli and the Shogun story quests before going to Sumeru, they also have important lore you need to know to understand the nation of knowledge

By then you'll be able to start farming 5* artifacts, which will massively improve your team

Amazing video, really really long haha, but amazing nonetheless

  11. Congrats on your Cyno card and Chevreuse! I got her too, and I love using her for overloaded. It’s also good to keep building and using Neuvillette when you need hydro for enemies that are tough to beat with pyro and electro. As for this quest, yes, this is a sad one. Learning that hilichurls used to be people who have transformed and are now cursed… it’s very sad. And Halfdan was someone I wish we could have spent more time with. But yes, it’s a great quest!

  13. The Chasm still one of my favorite place, all the quest in The Chasm are really great, I had a blast exploring and doing these quest.
I get why they made easier for news players to go to that quest directly (I remember some complaining about it because we had to do the world quest before to unlock The Chasm) but I would say, I really loved doing The Chasm World Quest before doing the Dainleft one, I felt like it gave me a full experience and make me even more into it

For Thomas, if you want his Burst , then you definitely need Energy Recharge on him and also HP

  14. Chasm and Enkanomiya has so much lore that it's insane…I would definitely recommend u doing all the world quests in the Chasm too but U seem really hyped for the sumeru stuff which is fine but the effect won't be as "impactful" as it would if u completed all the main world quests in each region because World Quests do contain more lore than Archon quests themselves…!!!!

Regarding ur team it's actually a offensive one this time which is great the super-conduct team that u've been running before this was really not it….BUT again I'll say Cyno was made to play with Dendro teams those teams are where he truly shines so ur goal should be to build a team around Cyno where he capitalizes on Dendro reactions since u wish to be a Cyno main.

And u can start that with getting Nahida she is an absolute must for Cyno she is coming up next patch so if u do enough faming and grinding u should easily be able to guarantee urself a Nahida.

  15. I remember when this quest came out, a lot of people felt bad killing the hilichurls. All this time, we've been killing people from Khaenriah πŸ˜… Good thing they respawn everyday!

  16. When doing Archon- or Story-Quests it is recommended to read all conversation options. your choice is an illusion and doesn't affect the outcome of the dialogue except when it's a puzzle mechanic. but Hoyoverse tends to give you multiple choices which should really just be one answer and they split up one sentence into two+ choices.

  17. 1:05:10 here you should've read ALL Aether's lines, not just one from two.
Actually since Inazuma you should've do that because they started to do "one sentence in two options" since then already.
Make sure you read Traveler's lines in BOTH options in later quests, especially in some important moments, those can have some important information.

  18. @K1ngBard Also, I will clear up some things πŸ˜…

As mentioned in the quest, The ruins in the chasm belongs to a civilization even older than Khanriah maybe timeine wise closer to Enkanomiya.

Also, To point the the exact world quest that you should do for the chasm, Its name is- "The Chasm Delvers".
Doing this completely also Opens Underground map Fully. Although, I will recom doing Dragonspine World Quest before Chasm as they are connected and Canonically Dragonspine is Done First before Chasm and It also helps with Timeline and learning some stuff that predates Khanriah but It doesn't matter that much.

Basically don't mind it this much and Do as you wish πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ‘.

  19. It was very nice feeling when you unseal the Chasem and jump straight in the middle

I get why they choose to make it skippable, but honestly I just feel sad for those who didn't experience the felling of accomplishment after unsealing it by yourself ^ ^

  21. Like that other guy said. I would recommend from now on always reading both dialouge options, if the first one end in … then it is just a sentence that continues onto the next dialouge option. Which basically means that there is only 1 dialouge option.

  22. I watch your videos while working, so I am personally excited when i see longer cut vids.

I'm glad the new team is working out for you! To get Thoma's ULT to charge faster, find artifacts that have high Energy Recharge on them. Thoma works best with HP (for his shield.) and Energy Recharge. Since you're using him for Overload, you will also want Elemental Mastery. My recommendation is putting the artifact set "The Exile" or "Traveling Doctor" (or both) with focusing on Energy Recharge, HP%, and Elemental Mastery for the stats. (Ignore DEF stats.) And if you have one, put a Black Tassel polearm on him (it's a 3*. He's a support and does not need a super awesome weapon).

In 4.3 they opened a Teleport to the underground of the Chasm so you can do Archon Quests there. But before that there was a World Quest you had to complete to gain access. (That's why there's a seal blocking the real entrance). It's a neat quest with a fan favorite NPC, if you're ever interested in playing it. But it is a LONG quest.

Genshin: All enemies you fight have something tragic about them. Hilichurls are cursed people. Fatui have families and many believe they are doing good. Eremites do what they have to in a racist climate.
Also Genshin: Fuck Treasure Hoarders tho. Kill them on sight.

Wonderful video. I love this quest and what we learn in it. All of the Chasm quests are actually really good and puts many many many things into new perspectives.

a lot of abyss quests or some archon quest

Traveler speaks for himself so it's not two options of dialogue, it's rather a one sentence split in two halves so you might consider reading it fully rather than skip one of them because later on traveler might say (he will) something really important, but you would skip it by accident πŸ™‚

  24. tbh I was siding with the abyss order the whole quest because I feel like they are trying to bring their people back

it's not like the time when they tried to recruit Dvalin

  25. Fischl keeps dying because you are swapping her at the wrong timing when you are in the middle of being attack

once you learn how to do the right rotations this problem will not be a problem anymore, same thing to the energy problem ^ ^

  26. Your party seens really cool, just maybe try leveling them up to 50 or 60, since the enemies level are at that now. I know it is kinda boring to get materials for it, but it is worth to see your characters be the best they can be

  27. Don't mind me requesting Genshin every survey to make more stuff for the chasm. I am obsessed with this place ever since it's released, and I'm glad Hoyo kinda listened (you'll see in the future). I am so obsessed with the ruins here because they share the same architecture as Enkanomiya…and I believe these are the only ruins in the game that don't really have an explanation of their history.

  28. You should build chevreuse with hp cuz both her buffs and heals scale off of hp and the buffs cap out at 40k hp so try building as much hp as possible and as far as fischl getting koed it was really just bad luck that you swapped to her just as the mages are about to do dmg and since both the mages hit her causing a reaction every time like melt, vape, overload she died instantaneously.
