So when the Favonius Knight came to beat the bandits, they decided to took her in (since she's still a child at that time) and let the church took care of her (in hope that she can change or something). But in the end, she embraces her life and ability as a silent killer (assassin) every night after her duties as a sister over (not like she ever done those as she always skips it).
The serenitea pot aka settlement doesnt really take real money. It's rly useful to farm a lot of stuff if you are not the decorating type too. The furniture can be bought with in game currency that is generated daily depending on how much you decorate.
to summarize mihoyo games in general is that you can just see how they show the mihoyo logo at the start of each game
for genshin's case the mihoyo logo is written in black with a bright white backdrop . this shows that in genshin with all the light hearted and happy atmosphere of the game there is a dark undertone behind it all as we all know it. and the story is slowly but surely heading towards that dark abyss (get it?).
for honkai's case the logo is bright white surrounded by darkness. this shows that the story in honkai is grim and depressing but amidst all that we can still see hope at the end of the tunnel and the story is heading towards such bright ideas such as hope and future.
