Genshin Impact 2.1 is just around the corner, and there are quite a few time-sensitive things to keep in mind as we approach this larger-than-usual update. So I decided to compile a neat little video to help you guys (and myself) keep in mind how to prepare for 2.1. Anything from preparing for Raiden Shogun and Kujou Sara, to anniversary rewards, to farming, to resource management, and even that terrifying new game mechanic called ‘fishing’ is discussed in this video for the convenience of your braiiin. and remembering.. and whatnot.

How to prepare for fishing
Step one
Get some worms
Step two
Become a father.

Saving resin for boss mats is not that good since the resources for leveling her up are scattered and ( probably) on a 3 day timer once you pick them up
Always farm Crystal Ores (Crystal Chunks & Amethyst Lumps) to get 120 crystals for your 30 (non resin based) weapon enhancement materials, Mystic Enhancement Ore, per day.
it takes 395 Mystics to get a 4 star weapon to 90 & 600 Mystics for a 5 star
So any help in obtaining weapon enhancement materials is good, it takes me about 1 1/2Hrs to do Mondstadt, Liyue & Inazuma, & you can speed things up by playing in co-op where every players gets ore from a node… then go to another player's world & mine there

Done farming already – which means no more farming for me until 2.1 aside from weekly bosses and Ley line overflow and maybe helping my younger bro gather some materials on his account – but still watched the video just to see if I missed sth. Thnx, that was helpful

My opinion is that most people shouldn't get tempted by the shop reset. I felt the same urge to make the most out of the reset until I realised how much of a rip off the wishes were. Even with the first time bonus, you might not have enough wishes to even lose a 50/50 for $100. If you're tempted to spend money, the best is to stick to the welkin moon every month, and maybe the battle pass on top of that if you want extra wishes, gems, materials, and fragile resin. Only make use out of the shop reset if you don't care about value for money. It's such a bad deal with the first time bonus, let alone without it.
