im playing xiao with 2 emblem and 2 shimenawa because of the lack of enegry recharge. that way he can always fully charge his burst himself and has it avaiable right after it ends

How much ER is generally recommended on him? Cause I've been playing him with 135 and Raiden as a battery, which means almost full Burst uptime – but I sacrificed tons of Crit stats on the way š
Fun fact, when your plunge through dmg is hitting, it's better to plunge spam instead of jet combo against single target and aoe
So realistically speaking, how much dmg per plunge should Xiao with 190 Cdmg/Skyward Spine do alongside Albedo, Zhongli, Jean team?
I watched this hoping to get an idea of whether I should pull for Xiao or wait for Zhongli but now I'm even more torn because I feel like I need both :')

look, he still needs bennet, battery, shield, and a 5star weapon. i still hit 50k, but that 50 is like every 1.5 seconds, and not counting he time lost in recharging ulti, also not using 5star weapon
Even a team of 4star without 5star weapon can do 70 seconds, thats noelle, geo mc, filsch, beidou, or ningguang+albedo+pyro res, you need 35k sustained dps to 9star abyss12, that would be more than 50k a plunge, and that setup will need zhongli+benneth
Even ganyu doesnt need bennet+zhongli to do sub 60sec abyss
I remembered getting the jade spear on standard banner and told myself I'll never use it because I don't like the spear weapon type. Knowing this I was still gonna pull for shenhe because she looked cool. Tested xiao before I pulled and I never knew he was so much fun. I've h are a lot about xiao since I started the game but didn't look up his gameplay. So I pulled for xiao and currently best character
I use Xiao on the abyss ever since I got him back on his release, playing with him is rather comfortable since he's not mechanically heavy, and having two geo characters on his team (I use Albedo and Zhongli) helps a lot
Xiao without bennet is like a char without artefacts. If you want him to deal much of dmg you always need bennet
I really like Xiao but Ive skipped Itto although Ive got his weapon because I want to have kazuha in the first day hopefully he will be back in 2.5
Good video but i think would be Worth trying Xiao in the second half since have the magu kenki that with some RNG (basically the cryo one not running to the other side of the arena) can de pretty easy to deal with his great Aoe and with the 3rd flour even if he strugles with the wolves at first he can still clear the ruin guards in around 20 seconds (I use R1' deathmatch in that case but still c0)
2:15 i have C4 bennett with favonius sword and c6 sucrose with r3 mappa mare, this means absolutely bonkers burst damage vape setups for my childe.
i recently get calamity queller instead of jade , so my xiao crit is 72 and crit dmg is 180 and i use 2 pyro to ger atk boost ( bennett+ xinyan ) and sucrose with TTDS and surprised with huge atk
5katk 65k plung against thease dogs , i think this is good team for him , which can easy refull the energy after the duration stop , any way there is better options like zhongli and albedo .I hope sumeru gives him a good artifact set
