well sandrone was a really candidate to be a fatui playable character because of zanni characters in commedia dell'arte (other candidate was arlechino, columbina and the rooster other are become playable like childe and scara)
due to the current leaks and the reveal pf arlechinnos code in the game i think that she will be playable as her code is Avatar_Lady_Sword_Pyro which is very similar to other playable characters while signora who died was Monster_LaSignora and IF arlechinno was indeed going to die her code would he Monster_Arlechinno but it is not so she will be the playable one but sadly sandrone does not have any info yet and it is said that she will die instead
Hope playable Capitano and Sus Aizen gonna be in Natlan and Pantalone and Jester gonna be in Sheznaya with Jester betraying Sharitza for unlock 8th region
Plot twist: the real Sandrone isn't the "girl" you see being carried around–Sandrone IS actually the bulky "robot" companion, and the "girl" is his "marionette". π²π² Also, I think it's pronounced "Sand-dro-neh," since the Japanese and Korean pronunciations are γ΅γ³γγγΌγ ("Sa-n-do-ro-o-ne") and μ°λλ‘λ€ ("San-deu-ro-ne") respectively.
To those who beg to argue about the pronunciation, it is simply what I inferred from the Japanese and Korean pronunciations, but I am aware that English translators might want to pronounce it differently. Both Japanese and Korean languages are syllabic in written form and their spellings for "Sandrone" end in γ and λ€ which reads "ne" consistently in any word across both languages. (Unlike English, most other languages have consistent pronunciations for each written syllable, especially the syllabically written ones.) In particular, Japanese does not have a syllable that ends in a consonant. The ending "N" you see in "Honkai" and "Genshin" is actually considered a wholly separate syllable and is the ONLY "consonant-like" sound that stands on its own (without vowels) as a syllable. "N" is written in katakana as γ³. So, "Honkai" in katakana would be 4 syllables (γγ³γ«γ€) and "Genshin" would be 4 syllables as well (γ²γ³γ·γ³). On the other hand, γ reads as "ne". If it was supposed to be pronounced "San-drone" (as in "drone" in English), it would be written in Japanese Katakana as γ΅γ³γγγΌγ³ ("Sa-n-do-ro-o-n") and not γ΅γ³γγγΌγ ("Sa-n-do-ro-o-ne"); similarly, in Korean it would have been written as μ°λλ‘λ ("San-deu-ro-neu") and not μ°λλ‘λ€ ("San-deu-ro-ne"). But then again, it's just an inference because English VA director might wanna stylize it however they want. Or what's probably more likely is that perhaps the Chinese Mihoyo staff made an honest mistake in transliterating names (wouldn't be the first time), who knows. I might have even missed some official videos where the name has been mentioned. I haven't finished Sumeru Archon quest either; maybe it was mentioned there, IDK. "Sandrone" seems like it's an English-based name anyways, so the transliterated names given to both Japanese and Korean voice studios might have been slightly incorrect.

I think Sandrone might be like Clara from HSR and Razor. Say, during her burst, she summons her robot guard and it attacks alongside or for her.
