Version 4.8 will be the last patch of the Fontaine cycle, and we are just one patch away from going to Natlan. HoYoverse will conduct the 4.8 special program this Friday, on the 5th, where they will showcase everything version 4.8 will have to offer. But in this video, we will discuss the 4.8 banners and take a look at the potential 4-star characters who might appear on the upcoming banners.

Starting with the 5-star banners and reruns: According to information via Fullstopchan, Navia and Nilou will be getting their rerun banners in phase one, which will start on July 17th, whereas Emilie and Yelan will get their banners in phase two, starting on August 7th. Considering that all the latest 5-star characters from Fontaine have been released in phase one, it’s unusual that Emilie is getting hers in phase two. But then again, they just released two 5-star characters back to back in phases one and two of the current patch, so they might want to give us some time to breathe.

Coming to the four-star characters on these two banners: Razor is the one character who I think should definitely appear on the phase one banners, and alongside him, Heizou and Charlotte are expected to appear. Heizou and Razor haven’t appeared on any banners since versions 3.7 and 3.8, so it would be a good time to give them their reruns. However, Kuki could also replace Razor since she hasn’t appeared on any banners since version 4.2. About Heizou: his past two reruns were during the summer, in versions 2.8 and 3.7, so he too has a good chance of appearing on the phase one banners.

Moving on: The 4.8 beta is coming to an end, and Emilie has gone through several changes during this period. She is looking excellent so far, as she has received some major buffs during the beta. Are you going to pull for Emilie? Let me know in the comments below.

Yelan’s rerun in phase two was a big surprise to me, as there are plenty of characters who haven’t received their reruns in Fontaine so far. At any rate, her last banner was featured in version 4.0, and characters like Shenhe, Ganyu, and Kokomi still haven’t received a rerun in Fontaine. But it was bound to happen since the chronicled wish banner appeared only once in 4.5; otherwise, they could easily rerun these characters.

Anyway, Emilie will debut in phase two of 4.8. As for the four-star characters on the phase two banners, Kaveh has to be there. He was released in version 3.6 alongside Baizhu, and he hasn’t rerun ever since. Twenty banners have come and gone after his release, and he hasn’t appeared on a single one. It makes no sense. They could have easily put him on Alhaitham’s banner or Baizhu’s banner, but they didn’t. That’s why I’m guessing that he will appear alongside Emilie in phase two unless they delay him again for the upcoming Dendro 5-star character in version 5.0 in Natlan.

Other than him, Chevreuse is another character who hasn’t received a rerun since her release in 4.3 alongside Navia. So if Navia is coming back on the banners, she should rerun as well. She’s the only 4-star character I’m missing, so please HoYoverse, please rerun Chevreuse in 4.8. For the last spot, there are two candidates: Sayu and Diona. Either of these two could get a rerun.

Before you leave, please keep in mind that predicting 4-star characters is extremely difficult since there are no specific patterns. The only way to predict them is through past banners and the number of patches since their last appearance, so I hope you understand. And that’s it for today.   4. I WASSS going to pull for Emilie but now knowing that Yelan is getting a banner I might unfortunately skip her, if i can suddenly get lucky and get both of them .. Bt I doubt it ! I have a guarantee anyways after losing my 50/50 on Sigewinne’s banner to my first ever Dehya .🤧

    I do really want Navia so I might try to go for her, but I won’t be that upset if I can’t get her !

  6. I think the reason Emily is in the second phase is because July 17 is pretty close to the release of ZZZ and they probably want peoples focus to be on ZZZ rather than on Emily

  7. Nilou and Navia makes sense for the first phase. I hope it's true cause that's a weapon banner I dare to wish on! Kind of wanted Furina's sword but I can't bring myself to risk getting Sigewinne's bow. If Chevreuse appears on Emelie's banner I might risk and wish on that. Used to be that leakers gave a damn and actually leaked the 4*s of almost every banner. It's been a long time since I've heard any leaker talk about 4*s. I guess it could also be that Hoyo just doesn't plan them in advance as much any more, seeing how wacky some banners are and some 4 stars are forgotten for long stretches.

  11. I was praying so hard that they wont put any 4 stars I want on 4.8 because I have zero and I need to save up but then they put Charlotte💀💀💀💀 Im gonna try so hard as a new player to get her no matter what

  21. Damn, now that Emilie's seiyuu has been revealed, the temptation to roll for her just increased, and I have no idea how to feel about it.
    Emilie's JP voice is Yoko Hikasa, who you may know from voicing characters like Rias Gremory from Highschool DxD, Mio Akiyama from K-On! (any chances Ritsu and Mugi come to Teyvat in Natlan?), Weiss Schnee from RWBY Ice Queendom, among many others. You can see why I want her now.

If they don't give in 5.1or 5.4 chronicle Wise with 1 faith point I'm just deleting the game hoyo need to login because they have made less money than wuwa and I don't think religion babies and stupid end games that sucks and watering end game by the way! literally the same thing but you need 42 and it's not challenging is going to save the game from dying

  45. current gacha system that we had now is so bad, hoyo should make two the banner contain different 4 stars from now and then

    or even better they should make 4 star selector in every banner already
