Damn I fricking hate when other people just compare honkai to genshin and now it pains me to see how the name of the game is literally "honkai" star rail and you say it's a genshin game
A lot of you people, excluding Honkai Players, reek of entitlement, or you just haven't been informed.
Mihoyo is able to do this now, because they recently shut down a few servers for their first game Gun Girls Z or Honkai Gakkuen. That gave them more room to work on their Honkai projects which they had in mind way longer than Genshin, so don't get your panties in a twist.
If they had continued with updating GGz, they would've had a total of 5 games to keep up to date. Which consist of:
Ggz
Tears of Themis
Honkai Impact 3rd
Genshin Impact
Honki:StarRail
To which a lot of you seem to not knoe that GGz and Tears of Thenis were Mihoyo games. Granted they do have small player bases, it's still informational to keep those games in mind.
This is a Honkai Impact 3rd sequel not Genshin impact sequel.
With most things aside… I'm excited for the story in Honkai Star Rail. Knowing that miHoyo story writers has a knack for… Many things like character death, I wonder what they might do!
Genshin and honkai are their “main games” I think star rail is gonna be like tears of Themis, a smaller in between project with a smaller team working on it.

HSR is either part of Post Apho after they defeated HoEnd or a bubble universe within HI3, those are Post Apho Characters and the train in the 2nd God Key
