I can definitely see more negative happening than good from this. If they did have to start making things cheaper or give more freebies, I could definitely see companies charging to play the game.
That being said, I'd pay 20 bucks if pulls and freebies and stuff be easier to get.

OG Arknights had shit gacha too, sad to hear going have same BS again, no it wasn't fair in tower defense one, you can spend a lot, there is no true pity system

I was lucky enough to get into the closed alpha and the combat was really good.
The graphics overall may not be great, but the combat and skill animations were really nice
This does not only aftect hoyo it affects all gatcha games in the US
All gacha kind is GAMBLING!!!! when % probability to get is involved its already gambling in definition though…..even IRL sport is one source of gambling such soccer,boxing,etc. Wanna stop this kind of game gambling?just stop playing gacha game forever easy isn't? And for parent out there , put on blocker or something in case ur "stupid" kid burning ur money without ur consent before its happen!!

Unfortunately, I remember how every dev team after the originals ruined this game with censorship, laziness, and one bad idea after another. I also remember how international players were intentionally given less or worse versions of content and banners.
I think IC 2.0 is gonna be worse. Have you come across Tales of Angels? I'm giving that game 6 months before it shuts down after the censorship drama.

Coincidence but I didn't even know there were a bunch of Higurashi games on PSP & vita after shifting through emulators. That and a lot of other series that will never be translated.
Again, I'm so shocked by people reactions to Endfield gacha, you have a gacha system that guarantee your first 6* character at 65~70 pulls (soft pity is pretty good within this one) which is 50/50 followed by 50 more pulls to get a guarantee banner character. The 80 pity goes through the banner (even if the 120 doesn't), you don't have weapons mixed in with characters in the banner, constellations don't matter at all and characters go to the 50/50 pull after their banner is finished, I mean, come on, what is not to like? You can't guarantee your C6? Well, you don't need it, and besides you can get the dupes latter losing random 50/50s because the character goes in the 50/50 pull, people who are saying the Gacha system in Endfield is bad just didn't understood it or are misrepresenting it on purpose to generate clicks. I'm still waiting to see more about the rate at which you get pulls (being f2p) and the rate of new characters release, besides I didn't see yet what you are able to do with the currency you get from dupes, if it works like in the OG Arknights it will also be great for the gacha system.
TL;DR Endfield gacha seems to be really f2p friendly and people are misrepresenting it for some damn reason.
I don't understand why you seem to support the lawsuit solely because it's Genshin. The stuff they mention is also in Wuwa, HSR, Reverse 1999, and any other gacha game I've played. From what I understand the main argument is that they use the in-game currency pricing for pulls, so it's not obvious how much real money is being used for each. Shady for sure, but is in every gacha game.

Guardian Tales is by far one of the best games I've played but sadly my server looks almost dead and there aren't many new players there.
Some of the people there say it's because most new players go to other ones while people who played almost since the beginning are left there alone lmao
