Hoyoverse is making a lot of new skins or outifts for a bunch of characters, and characters like wanderer, nahida, zhongli are expected to get their skins in the future. In this video we will discuss about all the skin rumors & leaks we have got in the past two weeks.
Hoyoverse has released 13 character outifts so far. They started the new outfit thing in version 1.6, with jean & barbara being the first two characters to get the outifts. And then five star characters like Diluc, Ayaka, Klee etc got their new outifts as well. However diluc’s outift is the only 5 star outfit that is available in the genshin impact.
And in the current patch 4.4, Shenhe,Ganyu and Xingqiu have received their new outfits as well. From what we have seen, we can safely assume that hoyoverse always releases new outfits in every X.4 & X.8 patch. This means, the next set of outfits will be released in version 4.8.
And so, a few new leaks related to the version 4.8 update have surfaced online. According to a source called whitefx1, the developers will likely add a fresh limited-time map for the flagship event, which will feature an interesting set of characters, such as Nilou, Navia, and Wanderer.
In addition, he also that the officials might release three new outfits. Two skins are expected to be for 5-star units, and the remaining one will likely be for a 4-star unit, which means we will be able to get the 4 star outfit for free during the main event of 4.8. And the characters who are expected to receive the outfits are wanderer,nilou and kirara.
The New map thing shouldn’t be surprising since this wouldn’t be the first time an event-exclusive map would be added to the game. The last update of each region cycle always features a temporary map.
The main event of version 4.8 will be related to Fontaine fashion show, and characters like Navia, clorinde, Nahida, Wanderer, nilou, chiori and kirara will appear in the main event. You may have heard of Emilie a few times, For those unaware, she is a popular perfume designer in Fontaine, and she is expected to be released in version 4.8 as a 5-star Dendro Catalyst unit.
Whitefx1 also claims that Klee won’t be making an appearance during this event. Now this is surprising since she has been featured in all the previous summer events and was expected to return in version 4.8. So does this mean that she will indeed appear on the rumored mondstadt special bannner in 4.5 alongside eula and albedo? Only time will tell us that.
But, there is one more reliable source called PTL, and they said that Albedo, sucrose & amber will receive new outfits in 4.8. Now this is very confusing, since both sources have said different things. And if you ask me, i think that PTL might be right. Because every limited map so far had something to do with mondstadt characters, whether it was 1.6, 2.8 or 3.8.
I might be wrong though, and i will tell you why. First, hoyoverse releases only one 4 star skin for a 4 star character, and the other outfits are for 5 star characters. So amber & sucrose both getting a new outfit doesn’t sound true to me. Second, now that we have so many characters, and we keep getting more and more, hoyoverse will likely release 3 skins in every X.4 & X.8 patch.
So it’s either two skins for mondstadt characters in 4.8, or wanderer, nilou and kirara are getting new skins. These are the skins for these characters which are circulating in the community, but my opinion, they are probably fake.
At last, skins for archons like zhongli and nahida in the production. And xiao is also expected to get a new outfit in future updates, probably during next lantern rite. If we actually got a skin like Zhongli's than I'd probably break my f2p status just for it, but I feel as though it's unlikely with how Hoyo does skins. Idk about anyone else, but I'm honestly unimpressed with literally every single skin we currently have. They're all so… basic in my eyes.

Personally wouldn't want them to release skins because I don't want to be broke. I'm 2700 gemmies in the red because of the Shenhe and Ganyu skins, and I own neither.
They could increase the skin output with a couple more in patches x.2 and x.6. But not more since those precious crystals are still mostly used for primos and it would become quite expensive.
Also, you mentioned that Klee has been featured in every summer patch but that's not true, she was featured in the first and third but not the second, probably wont feature in this fourth but might return for next year.
Navia don't need outfit lol her current outfit is alr one of the best degine so far
