Navia might actually be getting a rerun in version 4.8, and the chances of this happening are extremely good. A few days ago, when I made my speculated banners for version 4.8, I said that Navia might not get her rerun because there are other characters who are still waiting to get their banners ever since Fontaine was released.

But now it seems that one of them will have to wait a bit longer for a rerun. I’m sure you all know how the Spiral Abyss enemies’ lineups are always connected to the characters appearing on the banners in that particular update. A dataminer called HomDGcat revealed the Spiral Abyss enemies’ lineups for version 4.8, and if you look at the lineup, you can clearly see that some floors are specifically designed for Geo characters.

The blessing is obviously meant for Emilie because when characters attack Burning opponents, their CRIT Rate is increased by 15% and their CRIT DMG by 30%. Here is the enemy lineup for Floor 12: there is nothing unusual about the first chamber of Floor 12, but as you can see, the second half of Floor 12 has the Automated Supercomputing Field Generator, and we all know that the fastest way to break its shield is by using Geo characters.

But that’s not it: the second half of Chamber 13 features the Legatus of Legion Athanatoi, and this is the main reason why I think that Navia would get a rerun in version 4.8. So basically, the whole lineup of Floor 12 is designed in a way that you can use Emilie in the first half and Navia or any other Geo character in the second half of each chamber.

So who are the 5-star Geo characters who could get a rerun at this point? Well, there are only two characters: Zhongli and Navia. Chiori, Itto, and Albedo all got their banners in 4.5, so there’s no chance they are coming again after just two patches. We all know that Hoyoverse never reruns any archon this late in any region’s arc, as they like to follow their archon rerun pattern, so Zhongli will most likely appear in version 5.0.

That leaves us with only one character, and that is Navia. She was released in version 4.3, and it’s been four patches since her first banner, so it looks like she’s getting her first rerun in 4.8. But if that’s the case, who would she replace? To be honest, I don’t know, but it seems like she could replace either Wriothesley or Shenhe. My guess is that it’s going to be Shenhe since she’s an old character and might not be relevant to the current meta, but again, this is just a guess and nothing more.
