Version 5.1 isn’t even out yet, and we’re already starting to hear details about the upcoming version 5.2 update, which is set to release around November 20th. As you may know, version 5.2 won’t feature an Archon quest, but we will get new areas, new events, quests, and things like that. But here’s the best part – we might get to see Dainsleif again in version 5.2. Yup, according to the latest information, version 5.2 will introduce a new glider that is directly related to Dainsleif or Khaenri’ah. This could mean there’s a chance we’ll get a Dainsleif quest in the 5.2 update.

In this video, we’re going to take a look at what’s coming in version 5.2. But before we dive in, Hoyoverse has released a new redeem code worth 60 primogems. I know it’s not a lot, but hey, it’s better than nothing! Also, don’t forget there’s a new web event celebrating Xilonen’s release, so be sure to participate and grab those extra primogems.

Now, according to Stepleaks, a reliable source in the community, we might be getting a new wind glider in version 5.2. This glider will be connected in some way to Dainsleif, Khaenri’ah, or maybe both. Previous leaks about the 5.2 update hinted at Wanderer and Durin’s involvement in the main storyline. And now, the info about a Khaenri’ah-themed glider seems to back that up, as Durin’s story might tie into Khaenri’ah or Dainsleif.

There’s not much more info available about this glider just yet, but with the 5.2 beta less than a week away, this might be accurate. That said, you know how it is with free stuff in Genshin Impact. I hate to mention it, but remember the 4-star skin selector pack? Yeah, the one where you had to buy a PlayStation to get it. I don’t want to jinx it, but my guess is this glider might end up with a similar fate.

Hoyoverse would probably bundle it with something, and you’d have to buy something to claim it—kind of like the KFC glider. But—but—but—there’s a small chance it could be free, a very small one. Genshin has been giving out more free stuff lately, or at least since the 5.0 update, so I wouldn’t mind if they decided to show some generosity and give us the glider for free. Come on, Hoyoverse, you can do it, right?

Dainsleif last appeared in Archon Quest Chapter IV, Act VI: Bedtime Story during version 4.7, and he didn’t get much screen time then. So version 5.2 could be a great time for him to return, especially since it’s an early Natlan patch and there won’t be an Archon quest to keep players engaged.

A few days ago, FouL mentioned a Wanderer rerun and a Dragonspine-themed patch in version 5.2. If these leaks are true, it’s not too far-fetched to think that Dainsleif might be involved in the storyline too. The Simulanka main quest in 4.8 foreshadowed a future plot involving Durin, and he’s expected to be playable in the future. It’ll be exciting to see how things unfold in the next few patches.

  12. people call me idiot, madman for saying that dainslief quest will be in 5.2 since we are not getting final archon quest of natlan in 5.2. They said it was too early, it's usually in 5.5 or 5.6. who's laighing now?

I don't know about others… But, I hate those leaks so much, the ones related to the story and new maps… Like what's the fun into knowing that we will see the Hat guy and his little pet weeks before it happens? Why don't let it be when the time comes… It is like knowing what the movie Avengers End game plot about before going to the cinema…. I really hope those leakers go to prison.

    and for the people who will say …don't watch the leaks… They are literally everywhere and in many comments without spoilers alert.
