NEW UPDATE!! New Artifacts, New Geo Character, New Areas & Arlecchino Details – Genshin Impact

Hoyoverse is giving Cyno his second Story Quest in Version 4.6, but it will be introducing a future playable character as well. Sethos is expected to be a 4 star bow character from the Sumeru desert. His element is currently unknown, but he unmistakably uses the Medium Male model shared by other characters such as Cyno and Tighnari.

They’re currently using a Keqing placeholder instead of Sethos’ true model, which only further implicates him into becoming a playable character in future updates. With over a hundred voiced lines in Cyno’s second Story Quest, Sethos is sure to become playable in the future.

Moving on to the weekly boss. I’m pretty sure all of you must have seen arlecchino’s boss form on the internet by now, and I can assure you one thing, she is going to be the hardest boss fight initially. I mean, after a while we will get used to the patterns, so It will easier for us to dodge her attacks, but in the first week, I’m sure it will be fun.

The Arlecchino weekly boss’ domain is located in Mt. Esus East, And it seems that the entrance of the domain is someone’s tomb. A group called Team Mew translated the texts on the tomb, which supposedly read Here lies Harbinger Crucabena. While I have no idea who this Crucabena person might be, it is speculated that this certain someone could be the previous owner of the codename The Knave. But I don’t know, if you know anything about it, please let me know in the comments.

So Version 4.6 is shaping up to be quite an eventful update after the recent content drought.
Arlecchino’s is coming in 4.6, and I’m sure most of you have started farming for her already. But we can’t farm her best artifacts right now, because in 4.6, we are getting a new dedicated set for her. Two new artifacts sets, Fragment of Harmonic Whimsey and Unfinished Reverie, will be released in version 4.6.

Fragment of Harmonic Whimsey is going to be the best set for arlecchino, as the 2-piece set will give you a 18% attack bonus. And the 4-piece set bonus is that, When the value of a Bond of Life increases or decreases, the character deals 18% increased damage for 6 seconds.

The second set Unfinished Reverie however, is made for characters whose kit revolves around burning reactions. The 2-piece set bonus will give you an attack bonus of 18%, while the 4-piece set will give your character a significant amount of damage bonus. After leaving combat for 3s, damage dealt by your character will be increased by 50%. In combat, if no Burning opponents are nearby for more than 6s, this damage Bonus will decrease by 10% per second until it reaches 0%. When a Burning opponent exists, it will increase by 10% instead until it reaches 50%. The effect will still trigger if the equipping character is off-field, so there’s that.

The Bond of Life is one of the primary aspects of Arlecchino’s kit, which can be utilized by the Fragment of Harmonic Whimsey artifact set. However, the Unfinished Reverie doesn’t fall behind, as it grants a 50% damage boost with burning enemies nearby. Hoyoverse has been pretty efficient when it comes to releasing new artifact sets, However, after the Fontaine’s release, they’re started catering to specific characters, where an artifact set directly resonates with a character’s kit, which is not good in my opinion because getting an artifact with good stats, is way harder than getting a 5 star character in genshin impact.
