  1. I wish new levels is like a tree that affect all characters rather than upgrading each characters.

I guess they want the current abyss easier to 12 stars for casuals with the new level stats.

To divert the focus more into that new mode with stronger enemies.

  2. I dont like seeing the pyro archon as what they did to sumeru's archon, but it is reasonable to make the sumeru archon model as child model for it to have a varieties and also connected to the archon quest or lore like gouba.

  3. I don't know about level 100… as someone who is trying to build all his 63 characters to level 90 with level 8/8/8 talents… it takes a while. I'm not a day 1 player, in fact I really came in around version 2.4/2.5, so I'm still trying to catch up. Moving the finish line even farther away might make me stop caring.

I know a lot of RPGs do this, to give players something to do, but really, I don't want more to do. There's enough to do. I already use my resin every day, do my commissions every day, complete every battle pass, do all the archon quests, all the world quests, character hangouts, character quests, time-limited events, explored every corner of Teyvat, run the Abyss every cycle … you get the idea.

I just don't see what level 100 would add. It's already so many resources to crown your talents, get a character to level 90, and get their weapon to level 90 and get them level 20 5* artefacts… like what's the point in extending that too? Are weapons also going to level 100? Can you imagine how many domains and boss runs you'd need?

Lastly if this is one of those moves done for "player retention"… it won't work. Destiny 2 already tried it and I left it… for Genshin Impact. I came to Genshin because there was a lot less of a treadmill, the game is only as expensive as you want it to be, the combat is fun, and the world and music are gorgeous. It's breath of the wild with waifus. But I didn't need to play Genshin like a full-time job to do all of it (Destiny 2 felt like a job). If the level cap is raised, we're just dipping into making this game more of a chore, more of a job… and I don't want that.

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the boss drops increased, or ley lines now give even more… maybe we add a World Tier IX or Word Tier X that give more generous drops… but right now at WT VIII, the drops are STINGY.
