In version 5.0, we will be able to get six free weapons. In this video, let’s take a look at them and talk about how you can get them.

Let’s start with a free weapon you can get in the main event of version 5.0. Mihoyo has been alternating between giving out free 4-star characters or weapons with each new patch. In version 4.8, we got a free 4-star character – Kirara, and now in version 5.0, we’re set to receive a free 4-star weapon.

This new free 4-star will be a catalyst. At level 90, this catalyst offers a base ATK of 510 and a significant HP boost of 41.3%. But the real highlight is its passive ability: when an attack hits an opponent, it deals 40% of the wielder’s max HP as AoE damage at the target location. This effect can be triggered once every 15 seconds.
I’m not sure, but this weapon will probably be a free option for Mualani.

Once again, you will be able to get this weapon by completing the main event in 5.0. By the way, on top of a free weapon, we will get 1000 primogems, so don’t forget to complete the event.

Now to the five free craftable weapons in 5.0. Each region introduces free weapons for each weapon type, so there will be no exception for Natlan.

First, there’s a bow with a base ATK of 565 at level 90 and a substat of 27.6% ATK. Its passive increases the equipping character’s ATK for every party member from Natlan or with a different elemental type, and if there are at least three such characters, it adds Elemental Mastery. Characters like Fischl can benefit from the increased ATK and Elemental Mastery, especially in diverse elemental teams.

Next, we have a sword with a base ATK of 454 at level 90 and a substat of 69.0% DEF. Its passive increases the character’s DEF by 16% for 10 seconds when using an Elemental Skill.

69% defense is pretty huge, so this sword will suit Albedo very well.

Now to the claymore. It has a base ATK of 565 at level 90 and a substat of 27.6% ATK. Its passive boosts the equipping character’s Elemental Skill DMG by 16% for 8 seconds when a party member triggers a Pyro-related reaction.

The craftable polearm comes with a base ATK of 510 at level 90 and a substat of 51.7% DEF. Its passive increases the character’s DEF by 16% for 10 seconds when using an Elemental Skill.

Lastly, the catalyst has a base ATK of 510 at level 90 and a substat of 41.3% HP. Its passive increases the equipping character’s Normal Attack DMG based on their max HP when using an Elemental Skill.

Usually the first patches of a new region come with a huge amount of primogems and on top of that we can get 6 new weapons.

  3. Well the last weapon is obviously Mulanies best f2p weapon, not the first one. Doing 17k more damage every 15 seconds is nothing compared to straight up boosting the characters damage

    which part? Isn't it more racing when you downplay colored peoples beliefs as bs simply because you're not apart of it? Isn't it more racing to not gaf when so many poc are fighting for representation from a game that they play?? Isn't hoyo racing for stealing irl people's culture and not adding the people in that culture??
