Well, as i said. The floodgates of the remaining fontaine updates has opened up. Recently, we have been getting a lot of infos about the upcoming versions, including The character’s playstyles, upcoming skins, upcoming events and more. As i promised in my previous video which we talked about arlecchino’s playstyle, Now it’s time to talk about cloridne’s playstyle and talk about everything else we know about her. If you didn’t know, A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed more details about two upcoming characters, Arlecchino and Clorinde. Since the Fontaine region arrived, HoYoverse has been introducing at least two characters in each of their subsequent updates. The only exception will be the upcoming version 4.5, which will only add one new playable unit, the Geo user, Chiyori. Just her, no other 5 star or even a 4 star.

Since their appearance in the official storyline, Clorinde has become one of the most popular characters in the Genshin Impact fan base. Being one of the best character, design wise in Fontaine arc so far, it’s understandable that many fans are eager to see clorinde join the playable roster.

A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed more details about Arlecchino and Clorinde, two characters who are expected to join the roster in the following months. Regarding their respective elements, their in-game appearances have confirmed that Arlecchino is a Pyro user while Clorinde has an Electro Vision. Here is a summary of all the info provided in the leak:

Clorinde is described as Cyno 2.0 but much stronger.
Compared to Cyno, Clorinde’s Elemental Skill will be much more useful.
Clorinde’s Constellations will have high returns and leveling them allows this character to work outside the Overload reaction.
Despite her constellations, she would be compatible with Arlecchino and Chevreuse. Having either or both the units in her Overload team can make it greatly comfortable to use.
Arlecchino won’t be reliant on her Elemental Burst.
Chevreuse will be featured on both characters’ limited banners.

The fact that Clorinde is described as Cyno 2.0 means that she will probably best fit for the main DPS role. This indicates that her Elemental Burst could allow her to enter a special state that enhances the damage potential of her other attacks. However, compared to other characters that have a similar playstyle, Clorinde seems to be a much more flexible Genshin Impact character, as the leak described her kit as more “AFK-based”. the leak suggests they are more AFK based but don’t provide any example or reference for more clarity. So always, the players think these AFK abilities could be similar to Nahida/Raiden/Furina’s Elemental Skill, which means that she could also be a decent fit for the support role.

Even though Arlecchino has been introduced as a Pyro user, some players still speculate that she might get the ability to control a different element. One of the main antagonists in Genshin Impact’s Sumeru arc, Scaramouche, now known as Wanderer, used to be an Electro user before receiving an Anemo Vision.

While there is still no official information about their exact release date, the leak mentions that the two won’t appear in the same version of the game. This makes sense since HoYoverse usually avoids featuring two popular Genshin Impact characters on subsequent Limited Character Banners.

There are many rumors that Clorinde and Arlecchino might debut in the same version. The latest leaks have dismissed them and confirmed that both units would debut in different versions. Speculations suggest Clorinde might debut in 4.7 banners after Arlecchino, who’s rumored to debut in the 4.6 update. But it’s kinda weird. Why you may ask. Because the leakers already said “Chevreuse will be featured on both characters’ limited banners.” I don’t think they will release chevreuse in 4.6 and in 4.7. But let’s see how things go. Since my next goal Fontaine character is Furina (with an attempt for Kazuha in between… *will wait for Neuvi's future re-run for C1*), am most likely going to skip Arlecchino, but pulling for Clorinde afterwards may be worth it although I was want her GF/BFF Navia as well.. >>" We'll see how my pulls and current primo savings go I guess.

  31. The cyno 2.0 thing was clarified. everything until you mentioned arleccino was supposed to be about her. (arleccino is described as cyno 2.0 with high return constellations allowing her to function outside of overload with her e being viable without her burst and her not being burst reliant.)

  33. because we know chlorinde is very viable as a sub-dps unit, and, as you said, the leaker mentioned she has 'afk gameplay', i think she's meant to resemble cyno by mimicking his tech were, in a stance, his elemental skill's effect can be triggered more often, and casting them timely enhances the duration of the stance itself. i'm saying this because to be a sub-dps and to be as versitile as she is depicted, i really can't imagine her being on field 24/7 as cyno's burst requires him to be. Instead, i can expect this 'quicker elemental skill' to be able to be triggered off field via certain actions carried out by the on-fielder, whereas a cyno burst playstyle, which is based on infused normal attacks, cannot possibly happen off field. Since she's an electro charged and possibly overload support, maybe the way her skill could be re-cast during the previously described cyno-like stance is by triggering electro-charged?

  37. I feel like a lot of the negativity around Genshin would be much less if we just didn't know about what's upcoming. People wouldn't get mad at character kit changes or zones or complain so much. They should adopt the FFXIV way. They don't leak anything, they let the game hint at what's coming but that's about it.
