Arlecchino’s release might bring the strongest DPS character in the game. So in this video, I’m going to talk about recent info we got about Arlecchino, her release date, and some possible gameplay details.

Everyone can agree that Arlecchino is the most awaited character among players. She is said to be released in version 4.6, which will be on April 24. Her drip marketing will happen in 8 days on March 11, and we will be able to see her first gameplay around March 13-14. She will probably be in the first half, as most new characters are released in the first phase. Considering that version 4.5 is a filler update, you should start saving for her now.

New info comes from PTL Telegram account, but the source is Uncle K and TL HXG.

As you may already have heard, she is a Pyro user who wields a polearm.

So the first thing you need to know is that Arlecchino is a better version of Hu Tao. Hu Tao was the best Pyro DPS in the game so far, but Hoyoverse finally gives us a better alternative.

While Hu Tao is mainly focused on single-target damage, Arlecchino can deal AoE damage, which is really amazing considering that one of the main cons of Hu Tao is single-target damage. As Uncle K mentioned, “She will break the ceiling of Pyro characters.” So we can definitely expect that she will be overpowered.

Arlecchino is also said to work well with vaporize teams, so she won’t be tied to overload, and you can pair characters like Furina and Yelan with her.

Arlecchino has HP drain mechanics, which is not surprising since all characters from Fontaine have some kind of HP loss and healing in their kit. But what’s interesting is that Uncle K said that her signature weapon suits only her, and no one else can use it. If she is a DPS character, then the main stat of her weapon will probably be either crit rate or crit damage, and her passive will probably have something to do with HP. Then why can’t Hu Tao use it? Maybe Hoyoverse will bring something new to her weapon’s passive. Her weapon might only suit her for a purpose, in which case Hoyoverse will try to force players to pull for her weapon if they want to unleash her full potential. Or maybe her signature weapon will have some limitations so Hu Tao won’t be able to use it.

But it will definitely get more sales if other characters can use it as well.

It has also been said that she can be paired with Bennett but works well without him.

We are also getting two new artifact sets in version 4.6, one of which is for Arlecchino. Also, in this version, we should get a new boss. Some people say that it’s going to be Arlecchino, while others say that it won’t, so there’s no confirmed info for now.

  13. I'm willing to wait for Arlecchino. I'll get Furina in 4.6 then, wait for Arlecchino. Since she'll be new, it can be assumed after 4 versions she'll get her rerun. (As was seen in every new character's rerun)

  14. If Arlecchino is really going to be THAT good, i might consider pulling for her instead of Nilou. There will be a other Time when she gets a Rerun, so i'm not so worried about that. She's not a must Pull for me, atm. Despite being Fun in Bloom Reaction Teams. Since, i also want to get Wriothesley and Navia, too. And i'll wait for more Details about the Pyro Archon.

  19. Some more leaks shes attack speed based character therefore her artifact is 4pc gives some sort of attack speed on loosing or gaining attack speed. And because shes attack speed based Bennet is okay with her but not a must. Her weapon has attack speed with hp loss or gain passive too that’s why she can only use it not others much. Also her burst changes her Attack mode similar to cyno, some said she will do life steal based on damage dealt
