New UPDATE! ALICE & DURIN (DRAGON) WILL BE PLAYABLE! ALICE APPEARANCE IN 4.8 – Genshin Impact

With the beginning The closed beta for version 4.8 , and we have some exciting information from reliable sources. The 4.8 update will include the release of a new character named Emilie, along with her story quest, new maps, skins, and a new permanent event.

Yes, that’s right – we’re getting another permanent event in 4.8, and it’s not the Imaginarium Theatre; it’s something entirely new. The biggest news is that two existing characters, Alice and Durin, will make an appearance in 4.8, and both are expected to be playable in the future, possibly during the latter half of the Natlan Arc.

We’re heading to the region of Natlan in version 5.0, which is known for its dragons, so Durin might become playable there. Although he’s presumed dead, the upcoming summer event in 4.8, organized by a Hexenzirkel witch, may involve his revival.

Alice, Klee’s mother, is known for her powerful magic and has organized previous summer events. Recent information from Genshin Intel suggests Alice will appear in the 4.8 update and become playable in the future. Concept art of Alice, revealed by Blednaya, shows her in a red hood with long white hair, scarlet eyes, and elf-like ears, similar to her daughter Klee. However, teamMew mentioned this concept art might be outdated, so her current design could differ.

It’s worth noting that many players thought Emilie would look like her concept art, but that wasn’t the case. Nonetheless, Emilie is confirmed to be the new character in 4.8.
