The only thing you need to know about the Wanderer is that…
There's a whole 4-hour quest dedicated to his mental therapy
These version trailers are a bit spoilery, but Hoyo does a good job of showing something in a misleading or vague way, so you still get plot twists even if it shows it in the trailer.
In terms of bosses, since you see most of the boss in these trailers. There are two type of bosses, the important bosses (weekly bosses) and character boss( you can fight them anytime just wait for the CD). Most of the boss you will fight will drop important items to upgrade your specific characters.
Hopefully I don't spoil anything because all of the bosses are hardly tied up to the lore in this game.

Wanderer started out as a villain from the first event back in 1.1….. Unreconciled Stars event….. that's when he was first introduced to us as the Balladeer (6th of the Fatui, Dottore is ranked 2 of the Fatui and Childe/Tartaglia is 11th)
The Wanderer has a lot of names. Wanderer, Scaramouche, Balladeer, Kunikuzushi, Kabukimono, and as of yesterday… uh… Hat Guy.
if you're interested in learning some of the characters movesets and want to get a feel for how they work and what the gameplay is like i definitely recommend watching the Collected Miscellany's! they're a little longer than the demos but super indepth, but if you just want to start the game and figure it out own your own thats fine too!

I remember being so hyped and so exited when I saw the 3.0 trailerโฆ one of my favorite patches. For a week before it released I had only lived to get to Sumeru release date. Sumeru will probably always be my absolute favorite region of all time.
wanderer has MANY names… scaramouche, balladeer, kabukimono, kunikuzushi….. you will understand it more if you play the story for yourself bc trying to explain why would be very spoilery, and in my opinion he has the best and most well developed lore in the entire game

Baizhu was shown long ago in Liyue he was just never playable until now ๐ he's been a long awaited character for a lot of people me included, I have 368 wishes saved for him and his weapon ๐
If you havent already, there is a chapter outline trailer that released at the start of the game, it gives a little poetic tease for each region of the game and the problems there. The trailer is called Travail.

As much as people are telling u to watch the character teasers/tales, i suggest only watching them once u get to that point of the story where youve met the character, just like the story teasers aswell.

Venti is the Anemo Archon of Mondstat which is the Nation of Freedom. In the Cataclysm which is a great devastation that happend in the land of Teyvat (which is the world that genshin revolves around) Venti was still a tiny little wind spirit named Barbatos and he had a nameless bard friend of him that died during the cataclysm, in which Venti took his appearance after his death. The appearance of the venti we see now is the appearance of his nameless bard friend.
Zhongli is the Geo Archon of Liyue which is the Nation of Contracts. Zhongli's archon name is Morax and is the only one of the remaining original Archons that survived the Archon war (venti is the other that survived) Zhongli now wishes to live among mortals and be a part of his nation as one of them to gain the knowledge on how living like a normal person. There are still deep mysterious lore about him that is yet to be discovered.
Now for the Fun and yet Confusing Archons, The Raiden Shogun.
The Raiden Shogun that is the one who we play as and the one who fight as one of the bosses is just a mere puppet of the true Electro Archon, Ei. Ei made a puppet that resembled herself to rule over Inazuma the Nation of Eternity for her to fullfil her objective of attaining eternity. Ei had a twin sister Makoto that died during the Cataclysm. Makoto was supposed to be the Electro Archon but since she didn't survive the cataclysm Ei was the one who become one.
Now for Greater lord Rukkhadevata and Lesser lord Kusanali. Sumeru is the Nation of Wisdom and Greater lord Rukkhadevata is the original Dendro Archon of Sumeru, she died in the Archon war but a fragment of her was reborn from a tree branch, that became Lesser lord Kusanali which we know now as Nahida. (i wont go further because the lore of them is deep and you find out more in the archon quests)
There are 3 more nations left to be discovered and 1 forgoten civilization where everything began.

die mittsommernacht-fantasie it was an ost they had for a limited event so it's not in the game anymore. But yes the ost slaps harder then trying to read the actual name lol.
Baizhu is the first dendro character we met in early game story. And now he is going to be released. We've been waiting for almost three years for him to be playable. ๐๐๐๐ (Ps: Baizhu and kaveh will be released on Tuesday. They dropped Kaveh trailer yesterday and Baizhu 's probably Sunday/Monday or something)
