  1. Scaramouche reminding of you Ei? Hmmm you're onto it 👀
19:27 HOLY FRICK this is my first time watching Dehya's demo and WOW THIS IS SICK EYO CANDACE IS ALSO HERE

I'm not surprised you loved his demo trailer, it's so fricking sinister and insane! Faruzan's is such a bop too. I'm excited to see the second series of trailer, they're going to really introduce you to the lore. Seriously can't wait for you to experience the game for yourself, you're going to have so much fun!

  2. Also Wanderer is strong and his backstory will answer your question but overall no he isn’t a God either lol. They’re are just strong characters that aren’t God-like in the Genshin universe.

  3. The majority of the characters have some sort of tragic backstory, and there is an underlying story under the surface that could get dark, but for now the story is pretty light-hearted.

  4. It might interest you that there are also Character Teaser trailers, they offer a bit more context and story to the characters. They are short and there aren't very many of them, so you might want to watch them too. There are also version trailers, but they get a bit more spoilery if you plan to play the game.

  5. The game is pretty new player friendly. What I mean to say is that the regions get progressively harder so you have time to learn different mechanics.
The more you progress the more enemy variety you will meet, along with new and more interesting puzzles and mechanics.
There are 7 main regions governed by 7 archons(gods) which are all expected to be playable.
Aside of the archons other characters may feel overpowered, godlike or simply inhuman. Bu they are not gods. They may have borrowed powers from gods or something else, I don't want to get into details about most of the things simply to not spoil the journey you will have once you begin the game.
You did realize that the characters here have an Egyptian vibe, since this region is based/inspired by those real life areas.
Each of the regions actually are inspired by different real life nations and/or areas from different parts of history.
If my memory serves me properly: Mondstadt (Germany); Liyue (China); Inazuma (Japan); Sumeru (Egypt); Fontaine (France); Natlan (Mexico???); Snezhnaya (Russia)…
Some fun facts I gathered from my and other people's knowledge.. I believe Fontaine is French for fountain and Snezhnaya is Russian for snowy. Sumeru might be inspired by the name Sumeria. Mondstadt just means the city of Mond from German if I am not mistaken, as for the other names I don't have anything to share.

Didn't do a full 100% research before writing this comment, so some information may be faulty! Apologies in advance!

Edit: Forgot to mention that a lot of details are taken into account for the nations' resemblance to real life areas. Clothing and character names for example, building infrastructure and landscape. Offered food and ingredients and more. And yes a lot of the characters from one nation interact with each other, especially on big events. Despite being shown mostly solo in demos, trailers and miscellanies.

Edit 2: One thing I personally enjoy and you might too is that the developers to a certain degree combine creativity and imagination with real life legends, myths, religions and beliefs. It's pretty much a rabbit hole if you are interested in such things once you start investing time into knowing more about it.

  6. So far in the game, there are 4 playable gods. However by the end of the game, all 7 archons(gods of each element) will be available. The next god that we'll get is hydro, then pyro, then finally cryo. There are many other immortal characters though, like Yae Miko, Ganyu, Xiao, etc. Cyno is not a God, however he has made a deal with a god and can borrow it's powers, which is what his burst is.
