Hello everyone! Today we finally received some news from a reliable source about the upcoming banners in version 5.2. The banners seem appealing yet somewhat unrealistic. In this update, we’ll go over the banner details and other updates. Before we dive into it, here is the winner of the recent giveaway! Let’s start, according to Fullstop Chan we will see Chasca and Lyney in the first phase of 5.2, meanwhile in phase 2 we will get Neuvillette and Zhongli’s rerun banners. These banners are somewhat surprising, as this will be Neuvillette’s third rerun, meanwhile characters like Wriothesley and Xianyun have yet to have their first rerun yet. There is also characters like Kokomi, Shenhe and Ganyu who haven’t had a rerun in 11, 14 and 13 patches as of version 5.1. Then again, we know how Hoyoverse feels about their Cryo characters, so its not that big of a surprise. As for the weapon banner, Neuvillette’s weapon is a great addition and definitely worth pulling for. However it’s rather risky to go for his weapon when Zhongli’s weapon is there as well, as his weapon isn’t really all that great and definitely not a must pull.

Unfortunately another source, DK2 has shared that its certain neither Shenhe or Wriothesley will show in 5.2. Its kind of unexpected that Hoyo still won’t rerun any of the Cryo characters, considering that version 5.2 introduces elemental reaction buffs that will enhance Cryo characters. This update would definitely make characters like Wriothesley and Shenhe more powerful, making it more tempting for players to pull for them. Personally, I believe that Hoyo should consider swapping Lyney for a different Fontaine character, such as Arlecchino. Xianyun might be reserved for the next Lantern Rite, but that’s just speculations at this point.

According to leaks from HomDGCat, who has accurately predicted Zhongli’s rerun in 5.2, suggests that we might also see Heizou and Fischel as four-star characters in the second phase of 5.2. HomDGCat has proven reliable so far, having also predicted Kuki’s inclusion in 5.1. If this turns out to be right, players might be able to finally see Heizou again after a very long time. Normally four-star predictions is pretty much impossible, but lately there has been more and more leaks suggesting what four-stars will appear on the upcoming banners, but that’s all subject to change, so take it with a grain of salt.
