Absolutely wild that at C0 Neuvillette you have to choose between fully utilizing his best passive or actually using him with the region's archon. Scummiest thing Hoyo has done so far imo.
Your ideas make me think that the hydro archon might need these 2 characters as much as they need her. Real FOMO here – you need them if you want her, you need her if you want them. I am passing on all of them because I want Navia and I already have C2 Yelan and C6 Xingqiu and C1 Ayaka and C0 Shenhe which I am going to get cons for.
I’m pulling for wriothesley and furina, I’ve been saving for a while so fortunately I have almost enough to 100% guarantee 2 characters. Since I don’t have ayaka or ganyu he’ll be good for my account too.

I think its true. When you have a refreshing character like Wanderer and Wristley people tend to go for them. I pulled for Wanderer and i think hes so cool. I maxed him out and he is crushing also.

Ughh while I love neuvilettes voice and his charm, I have to say no. I already had tartaglia but I wanted to aim for his c1 and instead won on Diluc! After almost 2 years I finally have him ❤!
So now all there is left to do is save wishes and get furina. I don’t know what she does yet, but it’s nice to get another archon I like the first time she runs this time.
Pulling for Neuvillette for now as it's VERY likely he works with Furina (I can't pull both and 1 per patch seems to be the limit as an BP/Welkin player for units)… I'm hoping that when the Wriothesley rerun happens we will get Arlecchino and is a fire unit… melt teams have been in shambles for a while now in abyss. I'm curious about a Fontaine "badass" or GEARs team potential.
Because you know that fancy/light characters keep using the 'water pearls' and the badass/dark characters are using the GEARs as ascension materials. lol I'm calling it that either Arlecchino uses Fatui sigals or gears… there are no other choices for "Father". Also, Trgatlia uses Fatui sigals as he's still a Harbinger.

They both look good and fun and Neuv totally won me over in the archon quest but I have too many hydro units if I'm including furina, well damn. I like elemental variety and Wrio calls to me. Same as Shenhe did… I'm worried Neuvilette will actually be too convoluted for me to enjoy. I love simplicity. But I felt that way about Nahida and I was very wrong so we will see. There's always reruns and I surely don't need to regret another 5 star and contains has too many amazing characters…. This isn't working i still want Wrio a bit more lmao.

I think furina kit have to revolve around bond of life mechanic, which gives elemental dmg buff and her brust will apply bond of life to every one in the team including herself and she be a big buffer , giving atleast 30 or higher elemental dmg bonus .
She may or may not heal.
If she doesn't heal . Then kokomi will get a buff .

This is the first time I'm barely interested in a character, and I may just skip thr archon for now
I think both are underwhelming when it comes to the kits. I can see Neuvilette being a very boring character because its a one trick pony and Hyperbloom playstyle only fits with characters that leave off field independent prescence from a distance like Fishl, kokomi, yae miko, venti, Ganyu, etc which are going to be his best teamates because of yet another charge attack character.
Wriothesley is a Joke of a character since Hoyo decided to have a laugh and make the laziest character they could do 60 mins before lunch and still approve it. Why? His whole move set exist since Liyue on the very treasure hoarders you have fought for years now. Sadly he as a catalyst melee driver has the most potential teams with access to coordinated attacks from Xingqiu and Yelan on freeze. Hoyo is fleecing people with these characters. The funny thing is that they are needed for the yet another mechanic for abyss, pneuma and Ousia being implemented there making it even q worse unfun experience on purpose. Dawei having a laugh with Xi from his yatch.

Comparing Wrio to Heizou because they both punch stuff it’s like saying Nahida is similar to Barbara because they both use a catalyst. Heizou is a driver, his entire gameplay is centered around swirling and reactions.
wrio is way more similar to ayaka than he is to Heizou, and he doesn’t resemble ayaka at all, but at least they are both cryo and they share the same supports, and archetypes; such as shenhe, Diona, Rosaria, etc…
Neuvilette is going to be good with dendro? With that amount of field time? Have you checked his ICD? He’s extremely good for taser and mono teams. His current best team involves Kazuha and zhongli; these characters have already been tested by some of the best theorycrafters in the community who had access to the beta, people like TGS, Jello, Flip, and even KQM themselves have already tested the units for quite a while…
now I’m not saying they’re absolutely right, but the fact that you’re always standing alone in your takes, in complete opposition to everyone else in the community is quite perplexing.

Wriothesley is the first cryo catalyst in the game and is not the usual trite chick in combat lingerie. I'll get Furina on her re run, is not that we are missing hydro units.
I like Wriothesley's design but I cant and dont want to play fist characters.
