Nahida: Boundless Bliss/Genshin Impact Character Demo Ethereal Piano Arrangement

A very difficult one to arrange from beginning to end…

For intro, I firstly transcribed the two ostinato lines and realised it’s very difficult to coordinate, not mentioning to put the motif from “Aranara’ Theme” into the left hand. At the end, I decided to just follow the idea of the original but remake the rhythm and order of the notes to fit that motif in.

The main theme part is the hardest part to arrange. Jasper Hu mainly arranged this part. We think there’s no possibility to make those bass and beat properly on the piano so he decided to totally change the style of it. As this part sounds quite like meditation for some reason when I heard it, he decided to arrange the melody in the Left hand and make right hand some running passage to provide dream vibe. I only changed some of the running passages to make it more comfortable to play.

The bridge part is my favourite. It feels warm but with strength!!

The next part, which is probably the favourite of most people. It’s so hard to provide the same effect as how choir does. Jasper tried to fit “Aranara’ Theme” after each phrase, as a “call” and “response” between the original theme and the Aranara’s Theme.

I cut the ending! Because I already saved Nahida. She should be happy now instead of getting trapped.
