Thing is… It wouldn’t cost Mihoyo ANYTHING to give us reasonable rewards. They’re just assholes. This “Anniversary” is not even worth calling an Anniversary.

genshin is one of the least generous gachas I've played, and it really feels like mihoyo isn't thankful to have found such great success/they take it for granted now
The real sad part even the Launch rewards were not goods lol..
I remember when counter:side launched in SEA (all the global players use it too) they gave us literally like 300 rolls..and on top of that they gave us a few SSR coupons as well..Look at Kobosuba..their global launch even gave us like 5 of the bets units too..Miohyo just straight up doesnt care and imo its because the fanbase are such hardcore white knights that will be toxic to anyone who dares even breathe a bad thought about their precious game

I feel like anyone who wins the fan art contest would be able to get more primogems by selling their artwork on commission and just straight using that money on primos.
I was hoping just for cosmetics (wings/skins/furnishings), maybe like 4 items and we can choose 1 for every 3 months we've been playing. Pulls come and go, so primos don't really bother me but would be nice obvs. Something memorable to thank the player base would have been more than enough for me.
Instead everything is more gacha, "give us more money", or a cheap marketing gimmick to get us to advertise and invite more players in. F that.
It would have been better if they just said that they won't be celebrating the 1st Anniversary at all. They could have chosen any other event to be stingy and greedy on, they chose the damn Aniversary event to do so.
Someone even pointed out that the Lantern Rite event had better rewards. I didn't play yet during that time; but if it's true, then that is really messed up.

With the amount of money, they got from their community. Not even a full soft pity. Complacency has killed many games, and Mihoyo after a year needs to be careful.
Mihoyo: stfu we're giving you 10 free fates and 100k mora that saves you so much grinding. Stop asking for better rewards and promote our game because you play it.
there better be more. like the players gave them over a billion dollars in under a year and they really can't be bothered to give a little something back for the anniv? sorry mihoyo but that ain't gonna fly and you'll probably lose a lot of players if you stick to this stingy crap
