  1. I for one do go around calling these dumba** fools, what they are when I see them pop up. Responding to them with as close to a calm logical argument as I can before they piss me off again. I just mostly stick to youtube though, cause let's be honest twitter and reddit are often times full, and I mean full of horrible people who just keep making the stupidest f**king posts and comments. These people literally have nothing better to do then spend all their free time on twitter spreading hateful messages and being salty b*tches. And I know salty, I play several gacha games, I have enough salt to match a salt mine, but I'm not a salty b*tch, at least not in the way that makes me look like an a**hole. I didn't get Yelan, it hurts, I really am sad about it, but I'm not gonna go make horrid comments somewhere on the internet to make myself feel better. You know how I make myself feel better, I watch anime, I get to improve my mood, and watch some good anime (usually).

Now I'm gonna bring up some things, and outline exactly why this is stupid. So anyone here know the god awful Death Note live action from Netflix? They made L, who was white (either white, or asian, anime really doesn't care one way or the other, but he's from the UK, so I'll say white, any manga readers can tell me if I'm off on that or not), black in that adaptation. Now wouldn't that technically be a problem too, the character in the original source material wasn't black, so why make them black? I will say that I honestly wasn't that bothered by it, my problem with L in that adaptation, was they changed how L acted, they changed his morals, his pride, and it just doesn't work anymore. He wanted to use the Death Note, to kill Light! Do you have any idea why that's a problem, L would never resort to using the Death Note, he uses the system of law to handle these things. Using the Death Note for him would be an insult to his intelligence. And other such issues that came up in that adaptation, are why I hate that adaptation. If they made L black, but he still acted like L from the anime (which I did hear was pretty faithful to the manga, though I cannot confirm personally), then I would not mind, it's be a bit weird but I don't care so long as the character's motivations and personality match the original. I never sent any threats or anything stupid like that to the actors or those who made the adaptation, cause that's not a reasonable thing to do. I don't care what your skin color is, what religion you believe in, or what country you're from, you're either a decent person, or you're not. That's all that matters to me.

So while I don't go on twitter to tell stupid twitter people that they're stupid. I will say that to them if I notice them when reading comments on youtube. If I ever were to make a youtube channel or anything of the sort, and if such topics came up, I wouldn't shy away from them. Sure maybe we could do with having some more darker skinned characters in genshin, I certainly wouldn't mind at all, would be nice to see. But I'm not gonna go around being a dick just because I don't get what I want.

  2. ah completely disagree here. if you don't realize why it's important to see diversified representation on such a massively popular game well shit. the game has been out for what almost over a year? the longer this continues the more suspicions of an agenda existing become plausible. also, the absolute cringe at "I feel guilty for being white" and "I married white so I'm being doubled up on"… that is profoundly disgusting to hear and should give you pause to reconsider no matter the context.

  3. Hate the fact they changed their name to hoyoverse… like…once you release ZZZ and combine ZZZ and genshin and…that other thing. Make all 3 into one game called hoyoverse. Enough about that though. Yes too white, and too thin. Less ripped and more yolked please. I want more body sizes/types/colors. I can understand if it was a main character. And the model xouldnt fit into certain places… but this is uhm almost 2 years old At this point. I need children/teens/ripped men/women, yolked men/women, overweight, and even fat. Some of them even missing legs, hands, dinks. In white black, brown, blue, and yellow. The color is the least of my concern personally, it is the body type which can be shared between rave that I am more interested in.

  4. I mean Sumeru is supposed to be the middle east right? Shouldn’t that region have more brown people lol. I’m not gonna cancel anybody over it, I just think it doesn’t make much sense lmao. Inazuma has clearly Japanese inspired characters, Liyue has clearly Chinese inspired characters, and Mondstadt has European inspired characters, why stop at Sumeru lol.

  5. Why even bothering a game not releasing a lot of dark/tanned skinned chars?? And there is a reality called XİNYAN and I am literally unhealthy pale and if a game releases alot of dark/tanned skinned chars but no white/pale chars I wouldn't even care neither be bothered and why using "white-man" as an insult you guys are gettin angry by the "n" word and pull up racist card but does the same to white people???? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

  6. I just don't care about it. I'm brown, but I couldn't give a rats ass if they put brown, black or white characters. Just make em good dawg, then we good. And yes, the middle east, especially the primary areas that sumeru is inspired from (which isn't just india, but arabia) have pale skinned people.

  7. Honestly, it's a case of pointing out a problem in the wrong way. As a dark skinned person myself it is nice to see a little diversity especially since the game areas are based on actual people's cultures. It is surprising that even the archon doesn't have darker skin. It deserves at least a quirked eyebrow.

But I don't think it's right to shout racist, or demonize people or being offended unless you fully understand why something is offensive. I don't think it's offensive.

Problematic I'd say. But honestly it's hard for me to judge other countries based on standards they may not even recognize as problematic in their society.

  8. Whats funny is that most of the time the one that cares and complain about this kind of stuff are western which most of them are of a certain skin colors that are not black, brown, or yellow. I dont mean to offend anyone. I remember seeing BLM campaign filled with most of non-black ppl. For u non-black-brown-yellow dudes outhere, we dont need the pity from being born as black-brown-yellow skin person, so just keep ur skin color issue to urself. i My self as non whities honestly dont give a fuck about colors, call me black, yellow, grey or polkadots idc. I believe these Skin color, race, and other racist things is only a "topic" on western countries CMIIW. Like the channel, followed u since Arknight tec, good job.

  9. People keep forgetting??? That at the end of the day Inazuma isn't japan and liyue isn't china either and sumeru also isn't a real life place and all these are fantacy and do not exist in real life and Hoyo never said they were making a game called Genshin Impact to represent the world…they didn't say they are doing it for Represention. I want tanned skin characters too but not because it Has to represent the Real world even though the game is a fantasy with impossible myth characters with power but rather because Tan skin is also possible and fun and nice.

  10. Continuity wise, the natives of Sumeru should have darker skin since Sumeru is based off of middle eastern countries more melatonin would develop in their skin to protect them from the sun.

See, it's not about races, Just places, faces where your blood comes from is were your space is. I've seen the bright get duller. I'm not going to spend my life being a color. —- Michael Jackson —–

  13. I don't really think this is about "white people bad" as much as the fact that Genshin has is representing real life region counterparts. Like how Liyue's Chinese culture was expressed in the character's clothing designs, architecture, traditions, and Opera through different characters.

Sumeru also does this, like the past few. But it leaves the one detail out in the skin colours of even the npcs that live there. It feels like they took all aspects of that culture and people but conveniently left out what they look like. Genshin will benefit from this incomplete representation. That's why people are upset. Taking a part of a culture you like and removing what you don't… Which just so happens to be their complexion. And it's not just that they aren't tan. There is a substantial number of Arab and East Asians who have a naturally darker skin tone even with no sun. It is a complexion, not just a tan. I live with a S.E.A. person and we are both shut-ins in a cold climate. But even with no sun for either of us we are visually a different colour.

  14. My thing is that video want to see more characters that look like me(darker skinned) from a country based of my region (Swa) and I don’t feel like there’s enough representation of the vast majority of skin tones that exist in the region

  15. wth im an arab and im light skinned so it's kind of offensive that they think arabs are only brown or dark skinned and white ones don't exist. arabs are sooooo mixed they can be almost any skin color

  16. China does not care about all this politically correct bs. Chinese people do not like dark skin. Mihoyo caters to the Chinese. We’ll get 1 at MOST 2 dark skin characters. And no not xinyan, kaeya, or dehya “dark,” actual dark characters

  17. why are they the ones who are concerned about us, us people of SEA are very diverse. some of us are white some are mocha some are brown and dark. so why are they the ones being offended. the more they are barking on whitewashing bullsht on twitter the more we are offended. its like they are saying that we only should be dark skinned becasue we live in this specific region?. look whose being racist now?.

  18. Why do people misunderstand the meaning of Whitewashing? Its not about skin colors, its about erasing culture and ethnic features
I think Sumeru characters are great
