Im type who explore first then quest after, so i walk to natlan through sumeru desert
saw it because of the quest navigate… but it ruins the immersion so no… i always run/glide manually whenever there's a new area
I totally missed it, however going back to Sumeru and walking the deserts to reach Natlan was fine too.

The very first thing I did after finishing the Fontaine part of the new AQ is I searched for the Natlan waypoint

I did the exact same thing even though I am aware there is already a pre-opened teleporter just because I want to experience the travel and view how ridiculous the connection is to Sumeru and Natlan.
Oh, i knew there was a waypoint. I just chose to walk from sumeru.

I realised it when i decided to explore natlan before doing the quest
I did know, but I wanted to walk in as intended from Sumeru. There is nothing quite like walking into a new region. Still curious as to why everyone choses that bottom Sumeru waypoint and not the one in line with the new map as it is shorter (strait line is the shortest distance between 2 points) and there is a path with cave you can walk through to get past the desert cliffs (so you don't have to climb over them).
It's funny how some of the players doesn't remember that they said there ALWAYS will be a teleport waypoint unlocked on every new nation as long as the player has done Mondstadt archon quest. They did the same for Fontaine. How y'all forget it???? š
I didnt see it but it wouldnt have mattered cause I like to walk into a new nation not bamf there suddenly. It was fun watching Natlan come closer as I left Sumeru. Of course šø !!
Plus afterwards I kept looking at the teleporter like was that always there or did it appear later. Now I know.

I had some things to do in Sumeru's desert region so i teleported there, did some side quests, grab some chests and missed dendroculus, and then went on foot to Natlan.
Wait Am I the only one who actually used the waypoint??

I honestly just went straight to Natlan and forgot to start the story quest, so I saw the waypoint right away š
I'm pretty sure most people would realize Natlan would get a free waypoint after the last two areas got one
